Look Toward Brink's Endless Horizon

I don't know why, but I have a really hard time getting excited about Brink.

I don't like how in every trailer they need to go and much such bold acquisitions. Let your game speak for its self when it comes out -_-

I don't like multiplayer or fps games that much but this game is interesting to me.  I am looking forward to giving it a go.

Game looks cool.

Lots of talk about the story and such but not much showing. I can understand why they would want to hide big parts of their game after having that long 3-part demo a while back. Still, I too would like to see more of the game.

Everything about this screams Mirror's Edge: the movement, the sterile environment, the ambient music. I am positively stoked for this game, and I hope that it turns out as cool as I think it is. It's kind of weird that they're already advertising pre-orders; I don't think I've seen that before.

I greatly dislike multiplayer-focused games, but even I have to admit this one looks damned good.

I dont get all the hate for this game. The developers (in every video I saw) don't seem like the chestpounding "we are the best" guys ... they seem to be truly excited about the game. And in my book a developers that love their game are more likely to deliver.
 
And they are kinda right, the artstyle looks very unique, and the game overall looks awesome.

From all the gameplay footage I have seen, it looks pretty good.

I love it, such a great artstyle. Also i dont get everyone dissing the devs, they just seem really excited and proud of their game, unlike cliffy B and the guys at epic who act like they are the best of the best when talking about their games.

bringing Calatrava as inspiration for architecture in your game is not a good thing. Believe me. Bad, bad PR

looks fun

I like the style and the look of this game and I really thought a lot of the concept art they flashed looked really interesting.  I am a lot more interested in this game now.

If this game manages to meet my expectations I will eat my my kidney.

They definitely talk too much, just let me see the game.  In any case it looks pretty good.  I will continue to keep an eye on it. 

Whats wrong with saying your game is good, what are they suppose to say "yea this is going to be a plain ass shooter"  ya gotta get people excited for it even if you have to boast about it. But anyways Im interested to see more.

I'm just glad its coming out next year.  I promised myself no more games this year, its BFBC2, SC2 and Reach for the rest of the year.  SC2 will be a long termer though, i'll be playing that till SC3.   
 
Anyway about BRINK, I think the art style, which was the subject of this vidoc, is really great.  I love the characterized look, with the ultra-fine details, I think it takes balls to go for something very different, but you could also argue that only something really fresh could stand up to the stiff competition these days.   
 
Worst case prediction for brink:  It is another TF2 clone. 
 
Best case prediction for brink:  Movement really turns out to not only be fun and addictive to execute, but dynamic to witness in your opponents.  They haven't shown ANYTHING beyond concept about how this will look as the player, watching your opponents maneuver through the world.  Do they jump over things? or do they vault/spin/slide?  Also Weapons will FEEL better than they seem in the videos. 
 
I sure hope its the latter.  Great concepts wrapped up in this game, but as so many have said before, they have spent a lot of time talking about how awesome this game will be...now show us the goods.

I almost threw up my hands in joy when he said, "Colour is back in shooter games." I hope the multiplayer is balanced and fun.

after all the bold claims these guys have made, how funny would it be if this game just totally bombed?
