Cool!

That's Square Enix.

Edit: That's a double tap.

Looks cool, too bad I don't own a PSP.

That was pretty brutal

Brutal? Meh...

Edited by Godot

This is Swery's new game isn't it? Or at least he's been hyping it up on his twitter.

Edit: Hah, I can understand why he goes under the name Swery more than Hidetaka Suehiro. Lot more memorable that's for sure.

The song that plays sounds really familiar to me, but I can't quite recall just where I heard it before.

Aw, Dude! Wicked Sickk! Totally gnarly!

Yeah, nah. Someone trying to make an X-TREME monster hunter clone?
Posted by LordCmdrStryker

I find your lack of brutality disturbing.

The latest PSP title coming out of Squidix.

Posted by Blood_for_the_blood_God

that lead up to the "brutal action" was rather anti-climactic. Spikey haired dudes with big swords and  red splattering on the screen seems a lot more brutal in concept.

Is SWERY involved?

Posted by Addfwyn

Looks like a Monster Hunter clone, which is 100% okay with me, will probably pick it up.

Also, was that Bahamut 0.o

What if I don't want to give birth?

I was thinking it looked horrible but then i saw the psp at the end and was relieved, looks pretty good but will it compete with phantasy star

It's not totally brutal unless it has breakdowns.

I thought it said 'beasteality'...

Get some guitars tuned to drop D and you're golden.

Very true. C or a half step down if you want some really brutal chugging.

I think I'll stick with Monster Hunter...

Posted by ViciousReiven

It looks as if they just stole the design doc from God Eater and made it less cool somehow.

Posted by RE_Player1

Looks like they are going after the Monster Hunter market which is enormous in Japan.

Posted by Killroycantkill

You know it's brutal when prog rock comes into play. But yeah, it looks really cool. Might pick it up but when Monster Hunter Freedom 3 comes out I think that will take over.

Br00tal, bro.

Posted by Spekingur

So according to Squenix brutal = rock music, tattoos and splashes of blood. Where exactly is this brutality?

@Milkman:
Indeed, bra

So far it just looks like another generic jrpg... :/

Posted by MisterMouse

well that game was to go after the monster hunter crowd...

Posted by jorbear

Well, I guess you could call me a slayer...

Posted by Sticky_Pennies

Generic JRPG for the PSP. Great!

Posted by sate2801

no, nonononono
NOT QTE AGAIN

Edited by TatoBins

So this is less brutal than Mortal Kombat 1 then? I'm sorry, but since 1992 spraying blood everywhere just doesn't cut it anymore.

Posted by core1065

Monster Hunter with Square Enix juice sprayed all over it.

Posted by HubrisRanger

Y'know, nothing strikes me as especially brutal in this trailer. But then I remember this is a SWERY-joint. And then I remember the meat hook scene. And then I just kinda smile for a while.

Quintin Tarentino presents Final Fantasy.
Posted by MeatSim

If you mean brutally generic looking then yes.

I hate what Monster Hunter has done to Japan.
