Madden vs. Wolfenstein: The Wager

Madden =  Yankees only
Wolfenstein = Whole World
 
But I'll not be playing either.

Jeff is definitely right about the GiantBomb userbase, but no one really cares about Wolfenstein.

I want to say that Wolfenstein is going to flop and sell 8 copies, but the argument that Jeff brought up about Bionic Commando is really throwing me off here.

I think Wolfenstein will be the better game but for the purposes of the bet Madden is stupid popular. I would like to see Wolfenstein win though and I know I am getting a copy of Wolfenstein and I am defiantly not getting a copy of Madden.

I am probably going to get Wolfenstein and not Madden this year, but I won't be buying it until September.  You better be glad my job doesn't start until the 24th, Dave.  :P

I've also got the feeling that Wolfenstein will flop. For some reason, everything I hear about that game strikes me that it's going to be mediocre. I do hope I'm wrong, though, as I would like to be at least as good as RtCW. Chances are I'll probably be renting it on the 360 anyway.
 
Oh, and I bet Madden will win. Jeff's gonna gonna be chugging some gin, ho!

I actually played the demo of Wolfenstein at QuakeCon, and it was awesome. Here's hoping that the came does well!

It helps if the shooter is actually any good you know Jeff.

Madden sucks. I'll be playing Wolfenstein and hoping it wins.

I think Jeff should let me come in to the office and play some Wolfenstein. I have no plans to purchase either game, but I want Wolfenstein to win.

Damn I have a feeling Madden is going to win because of its large userbase who will continue to support its rehashed sequels and easy ass achievements.

While I almost solely drink Burbon when it comes to hard liquor, every once in a great while I actually don't mind a drink made with Fresca and Beefeater Gin.

I think this all depends on how many copies of Wolfenstein Gamefly gets

just saw madden gameplay. Man it just looks so lame.  Tackles still look whimpy, guys get hit much harder than Madden represents. Plua the running motion of all the players still looks odd. Man i really wish 2k could be back

madden will win simply because 360 is by far the most popular system for the game.  wolf will be played heavily on all systems so the spread is larger, especially considering the market PC is 0 for madden.

Ugh, just the thought of tasting gin makes me wanna gag. Never had a taste for that foul drink. As much as I like shooters I think Madden is gonna out sell everything this year. The only fps that has a shot in hell at beating Maddens numbers is CoD: MW2.

I think Jeff is actually gonna win. Madden will be played by ALOT of the American users, but all of the users from Europe and other places are probably not gonna be interested in it at all.

Gin isn't bad. It doesn't even scratch the surface of bad. Wtf is up with your liquor habit you pussies.

I'm from the UK, gin sucks. Bad. However, watching Jeff drink it will be highly entertaining.

Not that I'm taking sides, I just have no interest in football or football-related games, unless we're talking about 10 Yard Fight, or Blitz 2000.

No matter how little I care for the Madden series, it will most likely win.
 
At least, that was what I was thinking until he said based on achievements from the GB community. This could be closer than many people think...

Only a shot? No matter how bad gin is(it's bad) it's something you get over quickly. Man up guys and do something that's worth a bet.
