i love how they go straight from their weird haphazard star trek online multi episode stuff to this very detailed slower pace MAG multi episode review thing. I hope they do this sort of thing more often from now on.

 I think I preferred it when you could take more than 1 hit in FPS games before dieing (unless it was a railgun that you got hit with, in which case fair enough).

Could you guys make this more than three? I'd like to see a lot more of what this game has to offer before buying it... or not. Maybe try talking to some of the guys on there? Get a better assault rifle?

welp...it looked better today than it did yesterday.  Maybe the more open maps are fun because it doesn't seem so completely chaotic getting shot in the back all the time.  Sounds like Jeff is more-so enduring this game than enjoying it tho.

 If you've made a clan go invite a bunch of other giantbombers to the bloody thing so they can get a proper experience. MAG is a completely different and much more enjoyable game when you've got an organised squad working together, and it might encourage Jeff not to just wandering around aimlessly.

The reason S.V.E.R are so popular is because the beta info was released saying they were the underdogs in terms of population but had the highest win rate.
 
Players will always flock to the winners, something learnt in Planetside.
 
This is a good reason why you can't have several characters on different factions, would lead to too much faction hopping.

Why Sony didn't make a headset a standard feature on the original PS3, and then even more importantly on the relaunch PS3 Slim is fucking beyond me. Such a wrong move.

Also after watching this whole thing, i'm just like "Jeff- what the fuck, turn up your sensitivity on your pitch/rotation." ALSO i hate it when people fucking BLEED OUT WHEN YOU ARE RIGHT THERE (this happened more times than one in the making of this video). Pisses me off.

The Beta has a lot to answer for in terms of faction imbalance, a lot of it came down to in the beta lots of the kids who were playing it for free thought "I'll go Raven they look kewl! or I'll go VALOR i like MW2" which lead to teams of retards running around and the people who didn't want to be associated with either group ended up going SVER, as a result SVER won a hell of a lot of matches thanks to people who don't run around like they're playing MW2 and actually worked together.
 
After that the convential wisdom turned into "Everybody go play SVER they always win"

You die easily to encourage you to move as a squad, work together, use cover instead of just charging in and revive your team mates, running around like a tard on your own is a great way to die a lot and end up doing lots of running back from spawn. 
 
Defusing and planting takes the same amount of time, it'll go faster if you buy the advanced explosives upgrade.

I'm still on the fence, but if I can get in the GB clan and have people to play with (none of my friends own a ps3) I think I'll be all in. Waiting for next video to make my choice.

bleh I hate that.  Why I never could get into Resistance 2 MP.  Unload a full clip into a guy to kill him.  Then while your busy reloading you get shot in the back.
