Medal of Honor: Warfighter Debut Trailer

The "ignorant third-worlder" VO sort of made me uncomfortable. Like at any second he was going to start talking about juju or some-such.

What no Tier 1 beards this time?

I don't mind it being set in modern time period but I think the whole USA IS DOMINATE thing has been done to death. They should do a Medal of Honor where you play as a South Korean soldier trying to keep North Korea from invading, or something like that. Mix it up a little because I'm not gonna pay to be some American apple pie war hero that will save the world from great evil, that shit is so predictable.

I really really hope they lose massive amounts of money on this. BF3 could of been amazing but little support, asshole twitter PR morons, and huge design flaws have basically killed my interest in mainstream FPS's - I'll stick to Stalker and Arma2 instead.

i'm really iffy on this. Medal of Honor (2010) was NOT a bad product. it was just an average product. DICE definitely did not put full effort into the multiplayer. the single player campaign, however, i found to be a lot of fun. yes it was cod-like, yes some of the levels were not as good as the others, but after getting about halfway through the campaign i was having a blast. the set pieces at some times were mind blowing. the graphical accomplishments were wonderful, and at times the gunplay was crazy fun. the sound design was solid too (the sound of bullets changed depending on the surfaces they struck, which is something a lot of games skip or do half-ass).

there was a lot to appreciate in Medal of Honor (2010), even if it wasn't terribly original. as a result i'm not writing this one off right now, and i'll wait to see how things continue to develop.

i don't think the premise was the problem with homefront.

The bad gameplay, underwhelming story, and bad execution on a formula that CoD has "perfected" and is making every year is.

if they made it better, i think it would work, but that goes for medal of honor as well i guess.

They've basically attempted to make an entire race the grunts from Halo. I wouldn't be surprised in the game if they're shouting "it's the demon" ala Halo.

It'll sell well at Wal-Mart.

EA must have a fucking mountain of expendable cash laying around to fund this guaranteed flop for a quick buck. The game could cost 200 million to make and i bet if they made that back plus 1 million when all is said and done they'd still consider it a success. fucking sharks.

i think its pretty shitty that they are using the youtube interactive trailer endings for the raw trailers aswell.

cant take that much effort to make a separate trailer for youtube and all the interactive sites.

Sweet, JTF2. Canada gets some playtime this go. That said, looks pretty heavily scripted so far, but I'll let that slide since it's the first trailer.

Game of the Year, hands down... and Bobby Kotick shot in the nutsack Boll style.

The tech looks good, but the content seems generic and safe. There wasn't much gameplay here though, so I'll wait for a longer demo. It was not encouraging to see they had fully lifted the cover image from Modern Warfare 2 for a promo picture at the end (video advertised in the right).

If that is the final cover art.. this shit looks weak. I take a "guy walking towards the cam while stuff blows up" cover over this thing any day of the week.

Looks just as dull as the first game.

They continue to sell so it probably won't happen soon, but I can't wait until we're past the whole generic "gritty military" milieu for shooters.

This week I'm only interested in trailers that include George Washington.

Regardless of the game, I really like their logo splash screen with the dirt explosion in the background (the previous one was better though).

I quite liked (the last) Medal of Honor. Better SP campaign than BLOPS imo. Not quite as good as OFP: Red River, but nobody played that.

After the 5min long GTA V trailer 1 min trailers now feel disappointing to me. They didn't even show any gameplay :-(
