I'm really excited for Mass Effect 3. I think it will be fantastic and I'm fully invested in everything.

Just when I was starting to feel good about ME3 again they go and do this shit. Chobot? Really?

Hoping with all hope that my blind face in this game doesn't let me down. ME2 was one of my favorite games of all time. Pre-ordered this last week, and this video made me even more excited. I know a lot of people on the Internet don't like Chobot because she comes off as a pretty face reading from a script, but the Internet hates everyone. Her character DOES like really weird, though...

Chobot isn't one of your squadmates, right? Just a crewperson? I could stand a little dialogue from her if they're just trying to get a good score from IGN, but she's not an actress as far as I know. (Maybe she's just there to lick the omniblades clean?)

Really don't like Freddie Prince Jr., or Vega at all. If I have to sacrifice a squad member during this game, that choice has been made way ahead of time. He and Jacob can play rock-paper-scissors for the honor, but I'll throw both of them at a problem to be on the safe side.

IGN will give a good score to any and every game with an advertising budget. They didn't need to put an IGN employee in the game to get a 9+. That was a foregone conclusion.

Well, she's been doing video game voiceovers for ... well, forever. I mean, she did the voice of Katrina in freaking Quest for Glory IV. I was in high school then. Jeeze that makes me feel old. I think she's got to be close to 40, but it doesn't come off that way in her voice acting.

I guess I am a little out of the loop, but who is Jessica Chobot?

My point was that they mainly focused on screen actors, starting off with the "biggest names" and working their way down in a way. It feels like Hale and Hillis are there just to have some more women in it. If not, why not include male Shepard as well?

It's not even so much that they showed famous people, but that they really only showed the characters that are guaranteed to survive the endgame of Mass Effect 2. Note that they didn't show Garrus, Miranda, Jack, etc. I bet that's because those people could all die in the previous game, so they will only make cameo appearances in this one. So, the only people they showed in this trailer are Shepard (who could die in 2, but that obviously won't be canon), Liara, The Illusive Man, and a bunch of new characters.

Regardless, Liara is the only one I need. <3

They rushed DA2 to market based on the success of the previous game. ME3 wasn't rushed, so they should be okay. Anyway, the few scenes from this video look good.

i still find vega and other human companions as boring and arbitrary. compared to your alien allies (i.e.garrus) but guys like joker and anderson are interesting. . .but seriously eye candy in the form of jessica chobot? miranda was both eye candy and a compelling character.

Just because they aren't in the video doesn't mean they won't be in the game. Here is a link to a more complete list. The IMDB page has the full cast but spoilers ahoy.

I like how Chobot seems the least authentic about her enthusiasm towards ME3. Maby it's because the rest of the cast are much better actors/actresses that they make a more convincing case for why their excited towards the game. I dont have anything against her, she's good at presenting information, even if she doesnt know what she's talking about. I just feel kind of insulted by Bioware more than anything (first felicia day now this?) that their choosing star power over quality voice acting and experience.

Now that that's out of the way ME3 looks great! Seems like they've stepped up the cinematics a few hundred notches. I just hope there are some quieter character building moments inbetween the action.

The character Chobot plays looks just like her. Hmm. Hey, I wonder if she'll get the chance to have sex with Shepard! Imagine the fanboygasm!

We'll finally get to see Keith David's voice in combat. Gonna be nice having him yell orders at me. And I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Joker/EDI banter, so it'll be nice to get more. And Martin Sheen says just enough in this video to warrant me getting excited.

And then there's Chobot.

She is listed in first place on the IMDB cast list for Mass Effect 3, so she is in it.

Jessica Chobot has said on her blog that the part she played in ME 3 was A VERY SMALL ROLE, so calm down people.
