Mr Main Character will undoubtedly have a hidden story that makes him a bad-ass, In real life bad-asses like him don't exist, and you can't just pick up a gun and fire it willy-nilly. like the trailer (and video game troupes in general) he will make surviving seem possible, but at some point they will reveal that he has some sort of military training he is falling back on. Field stripping a firearm is not easy, and if you pick up a firearm off the ground you should field strip and clean it before using it. (in games this is really easy to do). so yeah he has to have some sort of ranger bad-ass, delta force, navy seal background that comes out in the second act.

Looking up that trailer now. I like this one a lot, but the old E3 one was one scene, a very tense one with some great characterization and awesome voice acting.

I just pray that they removed the XP counters that popped up at every kill in E3. That might fight in a Borderlands-ish game, but it would not fit here at all.

Far Cry Fauxhawk coming to a gaming platform soon. Really though with the tech behind it and an interesting albeit "bro" inspired story going on, I am kinda interested.

edit: changed brow to the correct spelling "bro," it could be a brow game too though never know?

I am absurdly excited for this game. Given my hype and disappointment for FC2, I'm a little cautious, but still can't help getting excited.

I seem to share the same sentiment with everyone else that this trailer looks pretty fucking awesome yet tells you little to nothing about the game. I'm still probably gonna buy it either way.

Yea - that last part is my biggest gripe - extreme circumstances and surviving is one thing - but full on combat training from extreme circumstances is a bit of a stretch - we'll have to see how they handle it.

Still looks very promising - loving the villian :)

Wowzers, nutso trailer. That bad guy looks REAL bad. Great voice acting.

I haven't played any games in the series, but this trailer has piqued my interest.

So far, I'm excited. I loved the look of the E3 gameplay, and the fact that they're attempting a story is intriguing. The Jackal from FC2 was the only interesting narrative hook in the entire game, and even that got cool only 10 minutes before the end of the game. Hopefully they keep the antagonist, Voss, as crazy as he was in the E3 demo.

This looks extremly promising. I got really hyped for this now, and I hated almost everything about FarCry 2.

I can't even get mad at it or anything like that it's simply hilarious when every trailer eventually gets to that dubstep wobble in one way or another.

The gameplay footage at E3 looked good as well so at least I KINDA know this isn't a Dead Island sorta situation.

Man that smear of dubstep (apparently, it's mandatory for all gametrailers now?) over otherwise nice looking trailer just makes me cringe...

The only reason why I'm excited for this game is because of the fucking villain. He's awesome.

As long as every enemy in the world doesn't respawn every time you run through some bushes or a couple of trees, this might be good.

Wow I really want to see more of that antagonist.He seems really evil like borderline physco makes it even more interesting.And the fact that he's not a stereotype is giving me butterflys in the stomach.He looks like a truly evil piece of filth.Not THAT is an antagonist.Plus who ever they hired to voice him is perfect.
