Yes Yes Yes so excited for this game played through the first 3 times, the ending gets me hyped everytime i see it. Kinda wish i could play as War again though i really liked the look of him.

It's gonna be really hard to wait until the Wii U is out 'cause that's where I wanna play this game!

Really unappealing character. Why does he look so meh compared to the last guy? And what's with the brutal cuts, is this MTV or a video game promotional video?

all 4 horsemen should star in a game, if war is going to be the big tough guy and death will be the elegant one. i want pestilence to be a stoner.... there i said it.

I get that it's marketing, and I get that they're attempting to be dramatic, but mostly they come off as people a little too enthusiastic about describing their DnD character...

I enjoyed Darksiders and I have hopes for this game, but to be fair I prefer my Death liking cats, talking in all caps, and prepared to murder a curry.

I know it's a video game and all, but I'd love to play as pestilence.

A snarky, decaying, wheezing, obese monster melting the flesh of his enemies.

I like their idea of death being animal like in his combat kills and the way he gets around.

I wonder what play style Conquest and Famine are like if they ever do them?

Guys the other 2 horsemen in the Darksiders universe are called Strife and Fury. They, along with Death were concepted prior to production on the first Darksiders along with War. At least that's what the devs have said in interviews prior. But anyway D2 is looking fucking bad ass, loved the first game.

I'm not a fan of the design of the character.

Also, that grown ass man had braces.

I don't know whether I'm now in love with the game or I despise it to it's very core, but it's definitely one or the other

The first game was a great start. Excited for this one.

My most anticipated game of 2012.

So i'm guessing when they designed Death they asked a 12 year old metal head what's awesome; very uninspired design.

Discworld references in my Giant Bomb? I'm down with that. Also, I really enjoyed Darksiders, and am looking forward to this, but I kinda wish they'd gone with a different horseman. Death seems the obvious choice, and I think it'd be cooler to see a take on one of the other two.

This is one of those rare titles that I am just so happy and surprised that this sequel exists that I'm buying it day one, sight unseen.

How is Death my maker? Someone's grasping at straws trying to come up with a funny caption...

That character design is a pretty big step down from War, even more so when you consider this is Death. They're talking about him being the ultimate bad ass, and he looks like a low level enemy.

I'm definitely looking forward to this, Darksiders was one of my favorite games in the last few years. It looks like they are really focusing on the two parts of the first game that needed the most work too by (from the sound of it) significantly expanding the hub area and added more depth to the combat. The only real concern I might have for this game is I hope these improvements don't come at the cost of less focus on Zelda-inspired dungeons and puzzles (especially since the puzzles in the first one were far more clever than the average puzzle in newer Zelda games in my opinion).

Does that mean they're gonna make 2 more Darksiders?

I mean... There are 2 more Horsemen of Apocalypse, right?

I don't think Death looks bad. I just think he should have a black cloak or something. Maybe it'll be a thing you get halfway through the game. Or something, I dunno 

so it pretty much sounds like darksiders just bigger and alot more stuff packed in,i'm game loved the last one only thing im hoping for is that it's a bit longer and i can get armor that changes me from looking like Casey Jones.

Man I really want this game. Darksiders was one of my favorite games ever, this is gonna rock.

Also, I believe that it was Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman in Good Omens that said (essentially) that all the other horsemen would eventually be obsolete. There would someday be a world without war, without famine, without pestilence...but there would always be Death.

twin scythe combat looked pretty compelling. Game should be alot of fun.

Buying this day 1.

I played through Darksiders on the PS3 and later on PC and loved every minute of it.
Bigger world, more story, more active protagonist.
No reason for me not to pick this up.
 
As far as the character desig goes Death in Darksiders has had that design since the first game.

Who makes these awful video's? Also why do devs allow themselves to look like total jackasses making them.

oh god they are so awful to watch. So lame in their production. Just stop it. Stop it now.

Damnit!! We almost got to the end of a developer preview without the use of the word "bad-ass" and that last guy had to spoil it!

THAT IS THE BEST DEATH. I REALLY HOPE THAT DEATH'S HORSE IS NAMED BINKY BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE PRETTY FUCKING AWESOME.

It's Summer now? Was once same date as Amalur... Well guess now I don't have to worry about which one to get then, so that's good.

He's had the same basic design, the long hair, the mask, and the raven. But they've changed a lot of the smaller details.

Can't wait for this, Dakrsiders was a FANTASTIC game. One of my top 10 or 15 games of all time probably.
