This looks great, unfortunately mercenaries just isn't my thing though I can definitely see the appeal especially if you're a crazy time trial person.

I'm greatly looking forward to Revelations though. I could use some more Resident Evil.

I really wish they would make non-tank controls. Watching the cut-scenes in that trailer was cool, then they showed the gameplay and it just looked boring. Slowly back-pedaling while getting 1 shot in.

Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 4 was great but I'm not going to pay $40 for it. If this was a $15 XBLA, then I'd be all over it.

Yeah. the Mercenaries stuff is really great, bummed out they never did DLC or achievements for it in RE 5.

Both the Mercenaries and Revelations look bitchin'. Just wish they weren't exclusive to the 3DS >=/ Mercenaries I can understand, but Revelations is still a main story entry, even if it's prequel.

Well the Lost in Nightmares + Desperate Escape did give you new characters for the Mercenaries--though characters you couldn't team with the original Merc characters unfortunately, since they were only available in a separate Mercenaries mode.

I like that they chose old school (or mansion dlc) Jill. Basically not blonde version. I like that she is acrobatic but not ridiculously so.

I love RE4 and 5.

I also love the Mercenaries.

But I don't want to pay full price for just a bonus mode. This reeks of laziness.

I must be the only person on the PLANET who didn't mind the whole "move/shoot" thing. It made the game a great deal more intense and even a bit more realistic.

I didn't mind it either, and it fitted well in the games design. But by RE5, where they were so forcefully trying to turn it into an full on action game, not survival horror, it did feel out of place.

Those aren't all the characters, just the ones that have been seen by the public eyes. Besides, it seems Capcom knows of Leon's popularity, so I would be surprised if they didn't have him in there.

I still think it's funny how knife crazy Hunk is in this game. He's got one in his shoe and he's got a wrist blade. It's like after Resident Evil 2 and RE4 Mercenaries he vowed never to go without a knife again. Always be knifing.
