Alex is one of the few videogamesmen that has actually been calling him by his proper name. So many people still mistakenly refer to him as Solid Snake; in fact I believe polygon opened their review at first with ''solid snake is back'' or something...

Jeff too continued to call him Solid Snake whenever this game was brought up (haven't watched the QL), but then I think that's just Jeff intentionally trying to rile people up as he is wont to do.

You know, I realize the game is a short piece of content, but that's a pretty big story reveal to just throw in your trailer.

Snake is stoked about stabbing that dude to death.

For them to reveal something like that in a trailer probably means she isn't actually dead. Although in another sense you could say it's still a spoiler for that sake :P But still... MGS, yo. It could be a double bluff -- you can never really know what to expect with these games.

Oh man, why didn't I hear or think of this before? How awesome would it be to come full circle and have this Snake eat its own tail?

Well, I'm quite convinced that she isn't, but the whatever twists the story takes should given given room to breathe in the game itself. Instead, I now know that the writers expect me to assume her death. They've played their opening hand before I've even bought the title.

I hope someone does a Kickstarter to fund a David Hayter voice over. Logistics notwithstanding, that'd be sweet.

Why haven't people figured out the REAL reason why the voice actor was changed for this installment? Can't you all see the forest for the trees. Two Metal Gear games from now, you won't exactly want the same voice actor for both of the main characters.
