I'm interested-haven't bought a basketball game since the old Genesis.

Remember Space Jam?

Growing up watching Michael Jordan is the only reason I'm interested in basketball as an adult.  I keep hoping somebody is going to come along some day who's even a fraction as dynamic and fun to watch as he was.

@dbz1995: then why would you be interested now?

Oh man, the 90s were the golden age of sports music.

That was kind of a weak trailer.

I'm a huge Kobe Bryant fan. I love the guy to death. Let that frame what I'm about to say.

The more I think about it, the more I'm pretty sure Jordan would've killed all of the top-tier players of this era. Just considering the changes in defensive rules in the last ten years, and how that's enabled smaller, faster guys like Kobe and Allen Iverson to do what they do . . . Jordan would have eaten those opportunities alive. He was unguardable in an age where you could hand check and defend with near-violent levels of aggression. Imagine what he'd be like anymore.

I actually had more fun playing the ELITE 11 demo. But I was always going to pick this up nonetheless.

There's a ton of 2K11 trailers out right now, most of them better than this newest one. GB just hasn't been posting a lot of them. Sports focused sites like OperationSports has them all though.

This is a much better Jordan trailer:

i watched the shit out of that movie

The Jordan features are the only thing that make this game tempting. For all the stuff they claim to do better, having gotten the demos for both, i found Elite to be more fun and better looking. The 2K demo was flat-out awful. One short quarter, no commentary, compared to the tutorials, practice mode, become legendary mode and a longer quarter in Elite.

But.... MICHAEL JORDAN!

Kobe Bryant says hello. I stopped watching after the 80's greatness of Jordan, Bird, Magic, and so on, but when Is aw this kid Bryant jump in the league, i knew he was gonna be something special. I was right, for the most part. Sure, he hasn't elevated the game like Jordan did when it needed it, but Jordan basically killed it for anyone else to be able to make the kind of statement he did when he was a star. Although Kobe did get 81.

Considering hes at a golf course I think he wants to complete against them in golf not basketball.
