Nice lookin console. Glad they're including a headset, trying to push Kinect as your main way to communicate for games was silly pants.

Is major Nelson actually very popular or considered good at his hype job? I just find him really annoying. Never really bothered to look at any of the stuff he does, very out of the loop on this guy.

here you see that it is a roughly rectangular shape! fancy! it has a disc drive! BOOM! and here is a sweet Xbone sticker! We're packing that sticker in for free, folks!

The headset is a nice touch, though I can't understand why anyone would pay money up-front to get boring graffiti on their controller.

Unboxing's aren't exciting if you know you can't get this stuff yourself for months.

I thought this one had an internal power supply. Nope! Big old power brick. (Just a pain to put it some where / more cords.)

So this means that Microsoft is basically ready to ship the XONE and are probably just waiting for Sony to announce a release date so they can pull a dick move and release earlier.

Welp, awesome to see that they decided to change their mind on not including a head set.

With all the changes in policy Microsoft is doing, next thing you'll hear is that they're making Kinect Optional and releasing a $400 edition.

(I highly doubt this will happen, but they also previously stated that the headset was not included, so who knows!)

I like that they did something like this but the thing still holds zero appeal to me. Pay wall for any online features, costs way too much, and most of all there's no games on it that I want to play.

Well, Microsoft is confirmed as the first company to closely work with the NSA. Sony is Japanese, I live in Europe, why would they give my data away? They are the safer bet.
