People that laugh at the idea of a country like North Korea taking over a country like the US have not read enough world history. In 20 years one country could boom and the other could bust. Then the balance of power could easily shift. 
 
Just look at the Mongolians.  The Arabs are another good example. The Macedonians too. They were all insignificant next to the  great empires of the time. But in just 20 years they exploded onto the scene and took over everything. It has happened dozens of times in human history. Just 20 years.... 
 
Of course look at them now. Maybe Americans should not laugh either. :\

I wanna play a game where Islamic Extremist invade the US, im tired of the Commies screw them. I wanna fight some Brit's and Real enemies. Or we could play as a different country now fighting the commies again im okay with that too.

You know when the screen pops up saying from the "Writer Of "Red Dawn" and "Apocalypse Now" they should also throw in "And The Guy Who is "The Dude"'s friend Walter Sobchak played by John Goodman in "The Big Lebowski" is based off. 
 
That would get a lot more people interested in this game.

yeah, the graphics looks like shit in this. mediocre war fps.  Too bad you are america as usual, would be cool to play as North Korea especially since they would be the underdog.

Is it just me or these graphics look like APB/Shooter MMO style? Like, dumbed down and simple? Especially textures and character models. 
 
 And I don't usually notice this stuff, but the lack of animation of the thrown body at 0:50 is really noticeable and looks buggy. 
Could have done without it in the trailer.

Seriously what yahtzee said is right, America needs a good war because clearly they have something pent up that they need to get rid of, just a nice friendly war to get over it.  
 
Oh well, a bit of an opportunistic thing playing on peoples fears, im not really against it, a good writer finds the change to get emotions going where he can i guess.

Dude, that's just a front. They have a second country under ground which is highly successful and technologically superior to every country in the world. Why do you think that nuke test they did was under ground? They were digging out! "

Looks not so great graphically speaking. But who knows maybe the story and actual gameplay will make up for it.  
 
Interesting premise, but will see what it delivers on both fronts.

ok, not to be the big naysayer, but is this built on the Source engine or something? i'm sure it's an early-ish build, but for a promo trailer it's not exactly wowing me

I'm down. Some ex-Battlefield developers. The multiplayer might be fun.

• North Korea's fighting jets are MIG29s (from the 80's), and they only have 40 of them.
  
• North Korea doesn't even have a real Navy and has no Amphibious Assault Craft or Aircraft carriers or any long-range bombers, and cannot invade anyone but South Korea and maybe Japan.
• The US spent $663,800,000,000 on the defense budget in 2010. North Korea's entire GDP is only $40,000,000,000.
• Most of North Korea's fighting generation in the next 10 years or so will be mostly crippled due to the famines of the mid 90's. So in 2015 North Korea's 20-25 year-olds will rarely be taller than 5'6".
• North Korea has 9 battleships (frigates and corvettes). The United States has around 100, and 11 aircraft carriers containing over 3000 aircraft.

Also, I'd guess that a good 50% of the population lacks serious loyalty to the "Dear Leader", and a good 10% would defect the first chance they got.

You have underestimated Australia and probably Poland. There is no need for Australia to attack South America, but if it did it would be quite capable. In-fact we share some resources with the US military, and buy their best equipment that they don't keep secret. To be honest, I just wish we had massive turrets spread across the country for defence and would not spend so much on military things we don't need. "
