I haven't played the games but I'm still tempted to get the book. Anything behind the scenes in the game industry is super interesting.

This is an awesome pull you guys. Loved hearing some insight about the business and the craft from the northern perspective.

didnt know he whas also the voice of Penguin and Desmond from AC but my fav has to be Mark Hamill i mean the way he does Joker is just Epic.

Yeah... I have always been kind of annoyed by Patrick on-screen, but he's especially bad in this video, trying to be funny all of the time and just babbling all over this interview. I'm not sure why they thought it necessary to put him on the couch.

Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat. I really don't want to be a hater but I just can't force myself to like Patrick - he is the kind of yerk kid that I never liked back in school. I'm kind of bummed out he is all over the site now. I just don't get the same friendly vibe from Giantbomb as I used to. :(

This was pretty damn awesome. Before seeing this I thought the book was literally a journal from drakes perspective, so I kind of blew it off. I am most likely going to pick this up now, I love behind the scenes stuff for video games

Are you under the opinion that GB staff are mindless robots with no emotion, and are there to serve your interests and desires solely? Stop criticizing the GB staff, he is getting paid and has as much right to be there as you do to comment on this video. Patrick is part of the staff who delivers the content to you, if you don't like him, leave the site and don't come back. I am getting tired, as I am sure others are, of people who are criticizing various members on nearly EVERY video just because they are not perfect in every way.

@CptBedlam: I don't dislike him overall, but I guess the combination of this video and Patrick being a relentless dick in the Trine 2 QL have really soured me on him today. Again, I like most of his news stories (at least the ones that aren't based on a dude holding a fake script at an awards show), and he's got a refreshing different perspective on many things, but I guess I just wish he would tone it down sometimes.

Nolan is really sharp and personable. Great interview, even with the awkward moments. I kind of got giddy when I first saw this for some reason.

That went by far too quickly. Nolan North is such an awesome guy.

Finally. I have been waiting for this for years. Nolan North is the first superstar of video games really, so it's reassuring that he's actually just a normal nice guy. But he's in so many games, it's gotten pretty crazy trying to keep track of them.

Great video. Enjoyed what Nolan North had to say. I don't think I was not smiling the whole time.

I'm confused with the Patrick hate. I thought he was just fine in it.

I wonder if he's going to be in the next ND game.

yeah Patrick writes great features but his interaction with Nolan was pretty painfull to watch. Even Nolan himself seemed to get annoyed

That was amazingly awesome. I love the industry people and I've been looking forward to the GB crew getting an interview with Mr North for a while.

And I bought the Voice-over Voice-actor book for a friend trying to get into voice acting.

I'm weird (apparently). I like Patrick.

@bcjohnnie: I respect his work and I like some of the points he occasionally makes on the bombcast. But yeah, it's a tone-thing. I'm sure he is a nice person but in videos and on the bombcast, he comes across as a mean brat sometimes (even the laughter) ... I don't like that vibe.

I really like Patrick on the site and on the bombcast. His articles are good and it's nice to have a different opinion on stuff during the podcast. However, I was having a tough time watching the interview because Patrick was trying to steal the show the whole time.

The two most important things for a good interviewer is to 1-Listen to the guest and 2-Let the guest speak!

Patrick was cutting him all the time to say dumb jokes and kept trying to talk over him. Look Patrick, if I watch an interview with Nolan North (especially him since he's so interesting to listen to) I want to learn more about the guest, not about you. Nobody care for your stupid jokes.

Over the weekend people kept saying that one of the reason we don't have proper awards in the video game industry is because industry people are not good in front of a camera or an audience. Well let me tell you... Nolan North was, and by FAR, the best person in front of that camera today.

Oh and finally...How the FUCK can you call yourself a journalist if you go and call your guest a jackass in the middle of an interview? FFS....

Nolan North is a great voice actor. Looking forward to future projects he is apart of.
