So it might as well just be guys fighting... no point in making it airships if they're just gonna fly all around each other one at a time to do whatever attack they feel like. I was hoping for something a little more tactical and a little less like they just reskinned FFIV

Its a good thing this is an uninteresting turn-based RPG because I would totally buy a DS (or any system) just to play an awesome Dirigible/Airship game that was in any other genre.

I really liked the DS remakes of FF3 and 4 and since this one's made by the same guys I'm pretty interested. Sure, it'll be pretty un-original, but the Dragonquest series have been like that for ages and noone seems to mind.

Just make Skies of Arcadia 2. MOONSTONE CANNON FIRE!!! Or even some DLC with some more ships to fight and such would be enough. I remember it had some weapons you could download on the DC. Those where the pioneering days of DLC.
