Oh Dear God This Rambo Trailer

Like, is this an on rails shooter?

Regardless of its quality, I'm really excited for this. Reminds me of that Die Hard Nakatomi Plaza game for PC that came out years ago. It's schlocky, its low budget, it's a Rambo game! I don't know why you would want or expect anything else. Besides, sometimes it's just cool to be a part of a great pop culture story.

Man, the stock scream i the first 5 seconds made me lose my shit, lol.

I don't know why but I get a real deadly premonition vibe from it.

As bad as it looks... man I grew up watching those movies! I think i'm up for a little homage, as bad as it is because... well, the movies were reeeeeeeeeeally bad, why would the game be any different?

How about some cheap ass Chuck Norris or Steven Seagal games?

Im really hoping this is one of those "wink and nod" self aware titles that knows how awful and cheesy it looks..

Why not just do what they did where it takes Postal & slap the Rambo title on it then just put this out as a 3 hour long movie to watch? Sure as hell would make more money that way watching all the crazy then playing the actual game.

This looks sooooo bad (visually) in that the helicopter was clipping through the ground! among other things. Also Light gun game? I would not be surprised if this is a wii game.

Why is he mowing down people in First Blood? He only kills one guy in that movie, and he didn't even mean to do it. **Edit** I think he kills some cops in the book, though. To be fair.

Why are there helicopters flying three feet off the ground?

My favourite part might be the big orchestral music beat when he pushes that cop across the desk.

Rambo 3 for the Genesis was pretty rad. Granted I was also like, 10 at the time.

Rambo doesn't kill anyone in First Blood. The only death is accidental when a state trooper falls out of a helicopter trying to kill Rambo.

God, does nobody even remember what First Blood was even about? It was a pretty serious social commentary about the alienation and discrimination Vietnam War vets faced after coming home. There is only a single kill in the whole film and the plot concerns the context and reactions to that kill.

And now it's "here's Rambo making cops heads explode with a M-60". I don't think even Stallone "gets" what First Blood actually was about anymore.
