Also this makes no sense, in 90% of video games you can make it to the end but you can also die multiple times throughout... why is this a potential sticking point for anyone?

I think a lot of people barely care about Ripley herself at this point, let alone a daughter of hers... or the entire alien franchise for that matter. I'll take a good video game where I can get it, if this turns out to be it. :)
