It was a honest question, I didn't know lots of people were having issues, but I don't hang around on official forums of an mmo, I value what is left of my sanity :)

For me, at least... no. If that's what the endgame is like, I'll quit playing (and paying). I can always come back for expansions or cool events or whatever. I've never had a game that I loved FOREVER, so I don't get why people expect that for an MMO. Play it until you stop having fun with it, and then quit.

He keeps dodging the instance issue. How come WoW can do it no problems? Is it really worth it just do it will go smooth once a year when there's an event?

I like these new interviews, it's be cool of they could do this weekly. Drag some developer or voice actor that's nearby or in town and just chat up a bit.

I'm not gonna lie, Star Wars the Old Republic is the Star Wars game I've always wanted.

It's something that dawned on me after playing one of the rail shooting Space Missions, where I thought that it was exactly what I wanted space combat to be. In other flying video games, dogfighting often ends about being circling each other forever, but this entire game is extremely cinematic while still being very video gamey AND something you can play with friends.

Maybe it's just me that feels this way. The space combat in this alone is a great throwback to the classic CD-Rom title Rebel Assault, which I spend a ridiculous amount of time with in my early teens, so maybe it's just a nostalgic throwback for me.

I'd like to give this a shot but 60 dollars on top of the 15 dollars a month is too much to ask for my curiosity.

i didn't think much of the beta, but this interview has me re-interested in the game very very much

Having finished watching it does not seem awkward at all.

They bring up several negative issues they did on the Bombcast.

Guess we will be playing a lot of huttball (?), because I am pretty sure all the servers are sorely unbalanced in favor of the empire.

All this story/rpg talk makes me kind of want to try the game... but then it's still a star wars game AND a mmo, and you couldn't pay me to go back down that road. It sounds like it could have been awesome in a singleplayer though.

Really good interview. Felt he answered the questions very well. I was leaning on the negative side agreeing with Jeff from the bombcast, but Daniel explained things in a way that really made sense.

I wish Bioware had put this much thought and effort into Dragon Age 2.

It sounded from the Bombcast that Jeff played a ton of SWTOR over the weekend but isn't quite sure if he enjoyed it or not, which is better reception than I expected considering his expressed distaste for MMOs in general.

Ryan sounds like he's enjoying the game, though admits he enjoys MMOs during the launch window a lot more than at any other time.

Brad's having issues getting into it after having played WoW for so long.

As for myself, having pretty much avoided WoW completely SWTOR is pretty good so far.

If only 'twere singleplayer.

Also, I hate how obvious they make it that they were trying to recreate Star Wars characters and events found in the movies in this video game. I wish they would use Star Wars a sandbox to create their own amazing thing, like they did with KotOR.

Of course, I haven't played it. These are assumptions based off interviews and trailers.

That (*cough* Bethesda) Bioware guy was good but WOW this was one of the interviews that made me comment. I sort of (from twitter etc) know you're not big MMO guys at Giantbomb but you do this very ...BEST(?). Brad usually do the "heavy" interviews...

If one of my chums ever say "yea well giant bomb is all about production value and fast wins" i'll point them right here.

This interview makes me want to play this game. Not sure if I will but the story stuff definitely sounds good granted it is coming from the head-writer.

i agree! i like this type of interviews a lot. nothing distracting, just talking. would love to see some more interviews!

Funny how the tone of this interview is VERY, VERY different to the tone they had when they talked about the very same game on the podcast.....
