So, giant mini-golf courses are a thing. I live near one called 19 greens. It's like giant outdoor mini golf. No beer cart lady though, so that's a thing to plan for. But since you only use a putter it looks funny when you bring a golf bag with lots of pockets to hide beer inside.

Awesome, now, I need a coke.

I kinda want to play this game now.

@Mezmero: I have to assume I was absorbed by TFC at the time and dismissed this game as it was a SIM<something>, and that was somewhat of a plague.

I lost out apparently, I'd by that today if I saw it going at a reasonable price.

Man, I wanted Doshin the Giant so much when I read about it in SSB Melee. Just cruel to put that trophy in the game when that was never going to come out in the US.

I remember seeing the box art to this game and scoffing dismissively. Who would have thought that this would be such a kick ass game? This video is the first time I've seen the game play for SIm Golf and it makes me wish I could have played it on release. I was probably playing TFC, Quake 3, and Tribes around that time on the PC. Don't think I had time to take a breather on a Sim game. This video is great although a bit long. I still kind of want to see a Genesis day premium video but I imagine the coming months are going to be a crazy bananas time for you guys. Continue to put out quality entertainment.

Even if I can't get SimGolf I need to play something Sims now.

I love the idea of a running feature with the new sim city, but would an endurance run work? I don't remember there being any end-game to those games, how would they know when to stop? Unless the new games have a campaign of some kind, then I'm on board.

I just watched like 2 hours of this and I'm not ready for it to be over. Also, I think this sold me on XCOM

Man its kinda fucked that there is no easy digital way to get this game. Only things that sell it are ebay and third party sellers on amazon. EA has been pretty bad about getting their relatively recent back catalog out digitally.

It's just the "Simlish" jibberish from the Sims games - they are saying "Mashuno!", if you wanted to sound it out exactly.

This game needs an HD re-release on Steam. That, or they need a "Black Mesa"-style redo by a fan, since EA are unlikely to put the game on Steam, or anywhere really. I've still got my disc, and the game still looks decent, but the lack of widescreen is a huge bummer.

This game, Theme Hospital, and Transport Tycoon were my entire life for a while.
