Can't wait!

Still got high hopes. Looks good.

Considering everything this has gone through, it looks surprisingly okay

This looks a lot better than I thought it would.

Oh god, what are you doing to Thane?!

Patrick was totally right during the morning show: this looks way better than it has any right being, but it's gonna have to wait until the Steam winter sale. I still have to buy GTA5, Watch Dogs, and a whole goddamn new console.

Hmmm. Looks interesting.

Too many other things coming out on the same day, i've got choices to make and I dunno if this makes the cut, but perhaps one day.

Aliens: Noire

Man, tomorrow's going to be crazy. I'm still super interested by the premise here, and I definitely prefer this approach to the FPS they were showing a while back.

Posted by TheManWithNoPlan

Gamefly just sent this out for me. I'm real interested to see how it turned out.

Goddamn, those Mercury era space suits have me sold on this... still disappointing to not have base building and research but what the hell, looks cool.

Posted by stryker1121

The era it takes place makes this look pretty interesting. Still, what the hell is this now? Not an FPS? Looks like Mass Effect a bit. And don't tell me to google. That's a conversation killer!

Posted by dangeRUSS04

that texas chainsaw sound makes that trailer

Posted by jarowdowsky

@stryker1121 Mass Effect without the RPG elements seems to be the general consensus. Squad level, third-person missions, all pre-generated and single player. Lots of ordering your two companions to use their equipment and powers whilst also fighting yourself.

Other than the perspective Brothers in Arms is probably the closest game I can think of. The quick look EX was an okay view of the combat but felt a bit light on the sense of how involving the game will really be.

But, fuck it, I've got to pre-loaded for those shiny space suits ;)

The game looks really awesome. I am not sure if it will be a day-one purchase for me, low on funds, but I am loving the generation theme and atmosphere.

Hah, pre-order at Gamestop for one pistol, or pre-order on Steam for every single X-COM game and Spec Ops: The Line for free?

Posted by Pixeldemon

So, I does this game attempt to be consistent with the story of XCOM: Enemy Unknown? Unless they throw some sort of reset switch at the the end, there really isn't any way to explain the modern XCOM unit's lack of knowledge and tech.

+ free DLC, with Steam preorder

They explain it. this was explained in the QL with the game devs.

When did anyone say that there is none of that? I expect it to have levels of this at the very least similar to Mass Effect.

Looks pretty freakin' great.

@budwyzer: Oh yeah, what I understand is that you'll get a 'Normandy' style base, so something to walk and talk through. You won't actually make base building and research decisions though, as I understand it.

It was mentioned in the recent Gamespot look with the developers.

I imagine you'll absolutely get the base expanding and have more to look at, side missions, etc - so I'm happy with that. You'll not have the same tactical control over construction as you would have in the classic games though.

This might be a good game but I think it is going to bomb so hard sales wise.

Still waiting some reviews before my purchase decision..

Posted by Fobwashed

Weird, I read a review on Destructoid this morning and was confused about why none of the other big sites had reviewed it yet. Went back to the site now, it's gone but it still pops up in Google when searching for "Bureau Review"

I'm guessing they posted it early on mistake.

Excited :D

How does this and Saints Row 4 manage to release on the same day?! FFS!

Edited by Cold_Wolven

I really hope this game turns out well especially from all the footage I've seen of it since it was revently re-revealed.

Two things, ONE The big red phone doesn't ring anymore, this trailer is so meta :(, 2. Those reviews were from websites no one really cares about. Makes me sad.
