In the ScreenCrush interview he's asked about the video game franchise and Vin says "Funny you should mention that, we have a Riddick app..." and then afterword says "But for the die-hard gamers..." and goes on to talk about getting together the Starbreeze team for a future game. I believe that game was the MMO thing he's been wanting to do with Riddick. It's pretty clear from the interview he's talking about two different project. This being the app that is available soon or now or whatever, and the future Riddick game he wants to make with the "Starbreeze team"

There's absolutely no way in hell that THIS is the new game they've been talking about...right? I mean...come on.

The art style reminds me of Shank (For the 2D parts anyway).

I suppose I never really expected anything, but this is very much not what I wanted from another Riddick game.

Also, to everyone who thinks that a Riddick game sounds like a joke, "Escape From Butcher Bay" is the best game based on a movie ever made, it is outstanding and you should play it.

It's not based on a movie, it's based on the main character of a movie, and as much as I like Butcher Bay, that title still belongs to the Mega Drive version of Aladdin, as far as I'm concerned.

@noelveiga : SNES Aladdin is so much better that I have no idea why people cling to the Genesis version. Sure, it had better animation and music but the platforming in it was kinda garbage and the camera was a disaster. I played both versions recently and didn't bother completing the Genesis one.

I would play a tight playing desktop version of this with better visuals for sure, butcher bay engine and even levels in 3rd person would be cool at a low price, not on a phone though.
