I mean, Saints Row wasn't just colorful, it had personality and great writing above all else; this is just... meh.

First game that has left me absolutely itching to buy an Xbox One. This looks like loads of fun. Though I totally do get a douchey vibe from the character designs and the "omnipotent Insomniac narrator".

"GUYZ DON'T WORRY OUR THIRD PERSON SHOOTER IS A MATURE THIRD PERSON SHOOTER, DON'T WORRY, THE COLOURS DON'T CHANGE THAT, IT'S JUST EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEME."

But yeah, this looks super cool to play.

(I thought Insomniac did a pretty awesome job of Ratchet & Clank Nexus, to be honest, it's one of my favourite in the series)

Man, I had to mute this video, the dude talking was quite painful to listen to as someone who is over the age of 14.

Game has potential though.

Same open world game, but now with colours and 10% better graphics. Sweeeet.

Looks like the sort of game people will turn up their nose on, but will be a hell of a lot of fun to the people who play games for (god-forbid) fun.

I know it's the "popular" thing to bash Xbox and all, but being someone who owns both I want their exclusives to rock... and want those games to be good. A one system world would be the death of consoles... Remember PS3 had a super slow start AND the cross platform games suuucked at first on PS3, sooo not true later. But haters gotta hate I guess.

So I'm hopeful it is what they say it is, an adult, crazy, insane weapon game (grown up R&C), that plays tight is open world, AND has good co-op or online... BTW, the Voice is most likely the video guy or a lead developer, that's not a paid VO.... and not a "trailer", it's more of a dev. showcase.

Dead Rising style games aren't really my thing, but I'll keep an eye on it.

The voiceover managed to ruin this almost completely...but at least it looks colorful still, so at least this title didn't get "fused". Not planning on buying Xbone, though, so hoping that they'll make something similiar to this for PS4 some day as well.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who thought Resistance 3 was the best thing Insomniac did last generation. I really loved that game.

At first look it looked like a bright, colourful & interesting. As the trailer wore on it just got duller & more tedious.

Also, if the voice over talked about the characters velocity, but all that was apparent in the video was the total lack of!

At first I was like, I don't know looks like something's wrong with it. Then OMG that looks awesome. The thing that brought me over were those respawning animations, those look fucking cool.

Aside from the annoying try-hard characterisation this looks promising.

Werid trailer. I like the atheistic but I thought too much of the trailer had a "Dead Rising" vibe. Traversal looked cool but gameplay mostly seemed to consist of mowing down hordes of enemies.

It has been stated several times since announcement that it is an Xbox exclusive.

They've announced this as a Xbox One exclusive, they've said in their interviews that this will only come to Xbox One, they've made the (dumb) claim that this was only possible on Xbox One with the constant updates they'll do, it's being published by Microsoft and on their website it clearly states Xbox One only.

And then, in this trailer, they showcase the Xbox One retail box and they end with the Xbox short.

... No. At the very least this is timed exclusive. As is absolutely clear in the trailer.

It looks like they took mediocre aspects of a couple of popular games and mashed them together with some Jet Set Radio.

Oh, haha, teddy bombs... yea it's been done. And it wasn't all that impressive in the other titles either.

Dead Rising meets No More Heroes developed by Insomniac? I'm fuckin in.

Well, I dislike Microsoft and the XBox One and I'm Pro-Sony, but based on the trailer, ostensibly, the game looks fine, and I feel you'd really have to be stretching to find flaws with it. Furthermore, it's not just here, it's in the comments section for the game elsewhere on the net, and it remains funny to read negative opinions from people with PlayStation avatars.

@shtinky: Well, yeah. I'm sure there are many actual sony fanboys out there on the internet that are just looking for reasons to shit all over anything Microsoft-related. However on our forums I'd like think the majority are above all of that, and if anything I would maybe chalk up the mixed responses to be down to cynicism more so than sony fanboyism.

And even then, well, the similarities to Dead Rising & inFamous aren't exactly hard to spot, so... and the trailer voice guy can be a bit grating at that. I can see where a lot of it is coming from in any case, even if it doesn't bother me quite as much.

Exclusives are the devil. Wrong console, Insomniac. :\

This looks damn sexy. If it remains an Xbox One exclusive, it'll further edge me over to finally picking one up.

Hopefully it gets better over time, but it's not lookin too good. Enemies seem non-responsive, movement seems clunky.

Ugh, the way he said that just made me cringe. Anyway, after seeing more of this game, it actually looks pretty cool! Too bad it's Xbox One exclusive. Hopefully I'll be able to buy one before this comes out.

Also, man, the particle effects in some of these next gen games are amazing. Probably the biggest change I've seen so far from these new consoles in terms of graphics.

At least it's colorful, and there's still time to fix some of those shoddy particle effects.

I think the style is interesting, and it looks like something I should be into... but something about it just doesn't feel right. Not really sure what.

Although, if it plays well, it could still be really cool, anyway.

This game looks alright, but this trailer was a little cringe inducing. "Hey, are you about 12 years old? Well this game is totally mature and not at all like those lamer shooters you make fun of on internet forums, y'know?" Ugghhhh.
