Can't help but notice that Alex's deck didn't mention new songs. NO SALE.

I just got the PC version today, I cant do anything in the main menu without the game crashing. A number of people have the same issue in the forums.

This game is actually getting a lot of negative buzz on PC, it seems like there are a few issues with crashing and stuttering and wanting you to post to facebook.... Doesn't really bode well.

I think I am just gonna go listen to the Championship Edition DX theme for awhile instead.

While it sucks that it keeps crashing, you get to listen to the menu music at least?

@joemotycki: The game asks you to post everything to Facebook on consoles too. In fact one of the medals you need to unlock the new skin is given for posting something to Facebook.

In other notes, I don't feel like this is much of an improvement over the original. Basically it seems like they put in a new start screen so people would pay attention to their new DLC. And the new start screen is just a complicated leaderboard system which is useless to me because none of my friends on PSN have the game. I'd go try the 360 version but then I would have to use the 360 D-Pad which is awful for this game.

The Dig Dug skins are full-on broken right now. I tried them with Championship II and it was laggy, buggy and kept hitching up. The other skins seem to work fine right now. Hope they fix it.

Weirdly enough I have all the achievements/trophies in both versions and I vastly prefer the 360 version. Not only does it boot up much faster and have less bullcrap up front, but the controls actually feel tighter, even with the much-better PS3 d-pad.

Played it for about an hour and did't encounter any technical problems, no crashes or stutters.

So the overall leaderboard will be fragmented because the new maps are paid DLC?

The DLC does not have new achievements.

Now, why do you have to go and take away my S-rank?

My only hesitation about making this purchase is that this update appears to acknowledge the existence of that terrible new Pac-Man cartoon.

It's on 360 now. I downloaded it. Not sure about PS3. I would guess it was there yesterday with the PS Store update?

@mlarrabee It actually doesn't, at least on 360. They added in game 'medals', not actual achievements. Not sure about on the PS3.

@mormonwarrior: I couldn't stand the 360 controls which is why I moved over to the PS3 version. One of the only times I can think of where a controller worked so poorly for a game that I played it on a different system.

You could have always got another pad. Here's one I recently picked up and can't praise enough. Then again, HORI makes top-shelf shit all the time, so yeah.

@yukoasho: Well it was free on PS Plus at some point and it doesn't seem to perform any worse than the 360 version so I wouldn't really pay for a new controller when I got this for free.

This game is kind of a mess on PC. It's locked at 720p and upscales to your monitor's native resolution, and many people (including myself) have an issue where the game stutters every 3-5 seconds. Try the demo before you buy.

Does this version have anything different then the console version or is the dlc all the new stuff?

I played it on both systems and didn't complain about either controller. Oh well some people complain and some deal.

Yeah, the stuttering makes one this prety much unplayable. Buyer beware, I guess.

@agentboolen: The console versions automatically update to the + version now. The only differences are the DLC, Facebook integration, and an unlockable classic skin. Oh and it now just loads into a complicated leaderboard screen.

And I did deal with it until it was on PS Plus at which point I switched over. No cost to me.

This is actually one of my favourite games and now I'm seeing stars.
