Amen. I was there, right behind the Europeans who were first in line. The energy in the room when they let us into the panel was through the roof. Brad genuinely looked overwhelmed and couldn't even bring himself to look at us. It was a great moment.

Jeff looks kinda tired, its understandable.

Nah it wasn't bad, one guy had literally the WORST VOICE and another had a pretty dumb question but the rest of them were totally fine or just great.

I hung around afterward and got to talk a bit with Jeff and Brad, I would have spoken to Ryan, Drew, Patruck and Alex, but it took over ten minutes in line just to see Brad and Jeff, and Patrick's line was like 20 people long. After nearly 12 hours of constant standing/walking, I didn't have the stamina for another 30+ minutes, but next year I totally will speak with all of'em.

Also, they totally should just play movies projected on the walls of the queue rooms. It'd make the wait go way faster.

will this be available in podcast form?

Really enjoyed the panel, but the audience seemed oddly quiet; I expected a lot more cheering/laughter, but instead they were generally silent.

Let's uhhhh not have Alex on a live panel again. Damn he is awkward.

@Anwar: Calling people assholes but then also providing the exact reasoning why that label applies is not simply bitching. Again, people love to come into these video comment threads and talk shit about the hosts, without any reasoning other than "I THINK HIS VOICE IS ANNOYING". Great! I think these comments are annoying! I also explained why I feel that way. Frankly, I don't care if you think I'm a hypocrite or not - I backed up my reasoning.

The people in this community who are more interested in bitching about the staff and what they're doing wrong need to get bent. I haven't seen a single thing put up lately without half the comments bitching about how shitty they think GB is or how annoying they think Alex or Patrick are.

I see many points being made about Alex, and this is just a culmination of many problems that people here have with him.

1) I see people saying that one should not criticize and say anything against him. Guess what? Comments are just that, comments, good or bad on the content. Alex's presence was distracting and took away from this panel for lots of people here. Not criticizing and thinking everything everyone on this site does is gold, is the wrong way to approach this.

2) He seems to revel in the hate and it annoys the hell out of people. For one, it is natural to hate people who just shrug off hate and don't let it affect them because then you feel like can't crack em. On the other hand, this is a site for entertainment and sharing in a love of games, so when a guy who is part of the content here just says i don't care about your opinion, it doesn't make you feel good about the site and what they do to try to grow and cater to the people. And you wonder if he actually speaks for the rest of the guys.

3) I saw another comment that dared people do the same thing and make a video of themselves talking about video games. Thing is that can't apply. We all accept what we are good at, what we want to do. I have a job and that is what I do. I don't get a trip to PAX paid for. His job is to talk at this panel and if some feel he is terrible at it and takes away from the panel, then that should be looked at. I don't go on youtube to make videos because I know I am not as good as Jeff, Ryan, Vinny, Patrick, Brad, Dave, Drew, Rorie, Will Smith or Giancarlo. And apparently neither is he.

Patrick was stellar. Dude knows how to be on a panel and effortlessly fit right in. He's the real thing. Very impressed.

Alex is an egocentric snarky unfunny just-can't-shut-up mess. I don't see how he fits in. He writes because no one else wants to, he talks just to listen to himself -- like Ryan, but EVIL RYAN -- that's not fitting in, that's holding a beer for a friend. Alex is that guy you put up with because he always saves your seat when you come back from the bathroom. Eventually you get tired of putting up with that guy. You can kinda tell they're tired of up putting up with that guy already.

Because he's the only writer on GB that gets consistently trolled and/or hated on when he writes a review or is in a video. He also gets involved with the trolls and comments back at them, which looks kind of unprofessional. I would just be curious to see how long he's with the site.

I want the next endurance run to be Patrick and Alex playing FFX-2 just to see how much nerdrage they can create.

@gaminginpublic: Maybe you don't know but Alex was with the gang back at gamespot for years and left along with a bunch of them soon after Jeff got fired. He's not new by any mean. So yeah he'll be around for a while as he's already been around for a while.

Also internet trolls don't deserve professionalism, not that making fun of trolls is unprofessional to begin with.

Did anyone else stopped the video when the Q&A started? Every year there is someone with a super retarded question that makes me feel so bad. Not watching it any more.
