PAX East 2013: Giant Bomb Panel - Part 01

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and all that, but I really dont get some of the complaints. This panel was incredible, by far the highlight of my Pax. Seeing it in person was just a different energy maybe- the crowd lost their goddamn mind at some points. Just phenomenal. The only part where i felt the energy got low was at the end, but it was a 2hr 40 minute panel, that's to be expectedl. Also, they answered every single question- how cool is that?

The Internet isn't a truck that you can just dump interviews on. It's a series of tubes.

This panel was weirdly dark. Not "haha this is funny" dark either kinda just awkward and discomforting regardless of whether or not that was in fact breast milk. Even if they hadn't focused on that so much seems like the guys were out of it, not their usual cheerful funny selves.

Other than that, loved it, this and last year were amazing panels.

Probably the funniest part for me was the person in front of me very quickly leaving the room when Ryan was about to drink.

Well, Jeff did say that they ran out of energy drinks. I'm glad that the Giant Bomb drink test segment has returned in great form! :D

It's a panel not a TV Show. I don't expect much and so far this one is so much more crazy fun then some of the past panels.

Did that crowd boo Patrick or am I hallucinating ?

Wow, that was really funny. The awkwardness after the milk incident was better than any stand up comedy could ever be. I know some of it was not intentional, but Jeff and Ryan make an excellent comedy team.

At any rate there was a lot more cheering (all you need is a small group of booers and you will hear it).

I guess its just a taste thing. I love dark, awkward comedy. I am comfortable enough with these guys personal styles to know that they totally cool with were it was going. I only cringed once even though I laughed at first.(Alex laughing at the sweating while sitting down thing.)

They were chanting SCOOOOOPS. The same thing happens at Bruce Springsteen concerts. The crowd chants BRUUUUCE, and it just sounds like BOOOOOO.

I'm turning this off when the Q&A starts.

Drink taste testing came back in a big way.

Great panel, awesome seeing Alex up with the rest of the group.

And I love the image. Everyone is losing it, but Jeff is all "Yeah, I knew one day it would come to this. Not surprised."

Really enjoyed watching this! It's messing around like this that makes Giantbomb what it is!

I like Alex, even though he was annoying when he used to say "that's a thing" all the time, I think he just acts like the asshole on purpose.

I mean it's you know milk..... you drink the exactly same stuff every day, except it's from a cow. That sound a lot more disturbing than drinking human milk...........
