I haven't seen the video yet, but that thumbnail right there perfectly embodies the phrase "amused condescension", which in turn perfectly describes what I've seen of previous PAX Q&A rounds, not just for GB but for everybody else as well.

Well, there was at least a couple good questions this year. That last question, in particular. Thankfully, even when the questions are terrible, it's entertaining in a train wreck kind of way.

I don't like Q & A. People come up with the most weird ass questions that lead to such awkwardness. Maybe they are trying too hard to come up with 'funny' or original questions?

Brad really didn't say almost anything, guess he wasn't feeling too well.

Well the thing you understand as you get older is that not all "females" are girls, some are women. There's a difference and a sense of respect that goes along with it.
Think of it as if I was to refer to you as "little boy" vs calling you a man, make sense? Maybe I'm just -that- respectful. I answer my sons with "yes sir" and "no sir" as I hope they grow up to do the same.

Either way, I think you're putting too much thought into it. But just know it's about respect......

This was both a really entertaining and interesting Q&A session, have to admit. Possibly the best overall PAX panel GB's done thus far.

Man, I loved Patrick's answer to guy quitting videogames for books. People should really start talking about stuff they like rather than stuff they hate more.

Q&As are a good way to test if your cringe reflex works.

Despite Alex constantly shouting down the mic I can't think of one funny or interesting thing he said. He mainly just made things awkward. Why does someone that annoying feel the need to speak non-stop, you can tell through a lot of him speaking Patrick is just cringing.

Ummm, that's Alex's entire gimmick. I can't recall a time he doesn't act like or give the impression of being an asshole. He always does this, he just has this really loud and particular way to speak that makes him sound like he's trying to be the cool guy that makes fun of others. A bit like bullying, even if it's not exactly totally intended to be a hurtful prude. He also seems to try way too hard at being funny, as well.

He needs to interject some more humility into his appearances if he wants me to think otherwise. Everyone else on the crew has so far except him.

Ryan is kind of dickish at times too, but he is more jolly about it, and doesn't breathe/laugh into the microphone like Alex does consistently.

That being said, I love how Vinny schooled that prick who got onto Brad's case for his personal favorite games of last year. That guy was an ignorant asshole. Great job Vinny.

That guy that last time asked about the endurance run, this time asked about how to get into game journalism, which is probably the question they get even more now.

I thought they would stop doing Q&A since last time, this panel was pretty freaking amazing and I am not just saying that. I need to watch the rockband night cause I forgot.

Ryan's reaction to that weird Kickstarter question was just magical, and the twinkle in Jeff's eye as he says he wants to be there was oddly touching,

Came for footage of Jeff breaking his ass, was a little disappointed.

Also Vinny's camerawork while Drew answered a question was great. Drew looked like a fucking cult leader imparting wisdom to a group of mind-slaves.

I'm proud of Ryan! By accepting a challenge and getting paid in the process... I'd do a lot more for a lot less.

Like I said I think you put too much thought into my original post.
But the "girl" in the video isn't a girl IMO, she's not a child so I didn't refer to her as such. I don't see the big deal.
If you want to call every grandmother out a girl then by all means go ahead, it's just not how I speak.

As for your "girlfriend" comment, you're just getting into semantics to prove your point and it doesn't apply so I'll just let you figure that out on your own.
