Love the new Detective, looks awesome compared to Ema's contribution.

Love this series. Even though they are very linear and have little gameplay. It's got so much charm.

Set it to download before I left for work this morning.

It's been long enough that I forget enough to enjoy the original trilogy again and avoid this new madness.

I played this a comic con. the emotion stuff feels really weird, but it sure is an ace attorney game, and a damn good one!

I was about to say, I played the demo and it's not like that.

Some spoken stuff is ok, but my favorite moments in the Ace Attorney series were due to character reactions in text form.
Sometimes an unexpected "What!?" is funnier than someone opening their mouth and saying it.

This is the best surprise news I could possibly get today.

I'd absolutely love to get in on this, but I still need to play the last few games. I am however glad to see Nintendo doing a great job getting their games out on the e shop day of release.

There is probably something wrong with your justice system if convicted felons can be prosecutor's.

Just finished my first case, and it's a thumbs up from over here.

I would prefer Athena to have a better intro instead of being 'she's a clumsy anime girl! Look she fell down the stairs!" but she seems interesting enough.

Music sounds awesome, too, albeit exactly the same (I think...?)

OH GOD! I just realised that I need to be into the Phoenix Wright series right this second.

downloading it now, but I will probably finish up with pokemon before I start this one up.

The demo is also partially fabricated, which I wasn't quite expecting.

Bummed that there's no physical release, but I'll take what I can get. Pretty pumped for some new Ace Attorney; it feels like it's been forever since the previous game in the series. I think Pokemon and Rune Factory 4 will both have to go on my 3DS back burner while I play this.

Ugh, I told myself even though I am a big fan of the series I that I would not get this game in shear disappointment of a non physical release, but now seeing all these videos I'm getting hyped again. Sigh.

But god damn is this track good.

And that Professor Layton / Fiction I want so bad.

Ahh, if only the dialogue in those games didn't move as slow as molasses. If there's one thing Japanese game designers can learn from the West it's how to write snappy dialogue that doesn't hit you over the head 5 times about every single minute detail to make sure you don't miss anything (even going as far as coloring important words). It's not just this either, there's plenty other examples, like Nippon Ichi Software or most JRPGs, really. Final Fantasy isn't too bad about it, surprisingly, but there's plenty other things to critique about the latest iterations.

The English VA is pretty terrible; wish it had the option of Japanese at least.

This looks pretty alright. I gotta replay the first three and get to Apollo Justice first but this is a definite early 2014 purchase for me!

If I had the choice though, I'd have it in Japanese, that way there's still a layer of abstraction. Thankfully, there's not that much VO in the game, so it's not a major issue.

Well, then this game is already doing really well for them to have announced a sequel.

Serious question: Is this series still like the first game where the incompetent judge lets witnesses endlessly lie until they run out of reasons? I quit the first one halfway because it was ridiculous.
