 ...Mass Effect 2? That one was actually better than the original. A more recent game would be Mario Galaxy 2. Can't think of anything even more recent than that.

@Krystal_Sackful: Yup, there are plenty of good sequels. In fact, I think that the second one in a series is usually the best, improving on the flaws of the first one but not straying too far away from the formula to alienate fans.
