It's funny how I predicted every single word of the voiceover a good 3 seconds before he said it.

It doesn't say much for the dialogue when I can predict exactly, word for word, the lines after "I didn't choose death..." 
 
Regardless, I'm still pumped because I got a ridiculous, piratey Fable RPG vibe out of this. Looks awesome.

A true pirate RPG would have been badass..but when I see Disney
on the name brand, I think: kiddie crap & avoid.

I'm kinda encouraged by the GB podcast comments on this game. Would definitely be cool if it were good. Oddly, considering I'm not a huge Pirates of the Carribean fan, I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out, especially on the PC.

I don't know if anyone ever played Sly Cooper 3 bu the pirate sim part of that game was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a video game, ever. If it's anything like that I am soooo down for this.

Hmmm... no blood, no overt killing. Pirates are renowned for raping, pillaging, and plundering. It's always weird to see a family friendly game/movie made out of that.

@Lind_L_Taylor: What's wrong with kiddy games? One of my favourite games on the 360 is Viva Pinata, not to mention Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Just because it has a childish audience does not make the game any less interesting or entertaining. If you only play games with blood and gore all over the place then you are missing out on some excellent titles and are probably a whole lot less mature than someone who can enjoy a good game no matter it's audience.

I gave it a shot with JRPGs once. Couldn't enjoy it. I just 
don't like the bland bullshit that Disney cranks out. If they
didn't have their name associated to it, I might have thought
differently about this game. They're too corporate for me.
 
It's like that whole bit with building a girly movie but add
in enough action so guys can enjoy it too, the story completely
sucks but it has nothing to do but generate revenue. I
don't care for games that are just building a cash cow for
the sake of making money off of crap product.  Pirates in
the Caribbean is over.  This game is just beating a dead
horse to see if there's still money to be made from it & I'd
rather they built a creative bone in their body than profit 
off of mediocre garbage. But that's Disney's modus operandi.

 Just don't care for Disney & their stuff.  There have been some good
pirate games made in the past. But this game isn't one of them. But
we'll see on the review.
