Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney TGS 2011 Trailer

i've seen some crazy japanese shit but this is just weird.

i haven't played those professor layton games but this combination can only come out of japan.

seeing Nick and Maya in Level-5 graphics is just creepy.

Did this ever get announced for localization? Otherwise, this is just teasing us, Capcom.

First thing since Kid Icarus that makes me want to buy a 3DS.

So psyched for this, its like the best fever dream ever!

I mean I'm realistic, nearly every cross-over game sucks because at best they tend to come off as some weird form of fan fiction and someone accidentally left some funding around. But I have some faith that Level-5 knows what they are doing and this was the highest voted game on their localization poll so there is no way its not coming out here.

I had not seen footage of this earlier and I must say that it looks great. A really nice upgrade from the 2D sprites of the DS games. Speaking of them, I still haven't played through 4 and Edgeworth 1, argh!

I want to play more Layton too, I only played the first game. Games are expensive.

I didn't even know there was a sequel to Investigations which is awesome, but now I am sad that I will probably never play it.

Don't like the move from 2D to 3D graphics. I think it ruins the style too much :/

I've never played Layton, but I'm a huge Wright fan, and this looks fantastic.

They've GOT to bring this here. I have faith that they will.

Not as epic as the first trailer, but at least it shows the leap from sprites to polygonal graphics - which mimics the original styles surprisingly well, I think.

This is the only game so far that makes me wanna get a 3DS... after a few redesigns and price cuts... maybe.

Neither of these games should be in 3D. I don't know that I will like what will come of this.

It's hard getting used to that's for sure. Seems really unnecessary, but I'm sure they will be able to pull this off.

I kinda like the polygonal 3D. Maybe I would've preferred cel-shading, but I'm really excited to see Phoenix Wright fully animated!

So I'm guessing Layton will handle investigations and clue gathering, and Pheonix Wright will do interviews and trials? Or something.
