This type of game has been done before, for the Sims 2 I believe where you could take the career path of "Thief".

Sad jokes aside, there is the obvious example of the game called "Thief" and of course what imo is the best burglary "sim" ever made in the adventure game called "The Clue" where you played a character called Matt Savant.

@neek: I went straight to the comments as soon as he said pit bull. You couldn't find a worse guard-dog than a pit, and fuck everybody that pushes the horrible killing machine bullshit.

I also came to this post after reading Patrick's discussion with him, thinking the guy sounds like a complete tool.

On top of that, this trailer was mind-numbingly boring and annoying with its tone. Massively-multiplayer relies on lots of people playing the game, at the same time, for extended periods of time. I can't wait to not give that guy money and not play that game.

I guess the game designer was actually attacked by a dog. I'm wondering if it wasn't a pitbull. A Murder Shepard would probably be better dog for guarding your crap anyway.
