This game is a flippin blast. I've played through it four or five times on my iPhone. It controls better on the phone but I still really enjoy it on PC. It's a fun game to play while catching up on podcasts!!!

How to win at 10,000,000:

Try to get your matches at the bottom, not the top. This way you inadvertently make huge chains.

great music.

I picked this up and am enjoying it.

I bought this 15 minutes after the quicklook went up and I only just now stopped playing.

Might give this a shot.

When they were raving about the iPhone version on the podcast, I bought it on their recommendation. Needless to say, my work productivity plummeted.

I will say, those chiptunes are pretty rockin'.

Have had this on my phone for the last few months. It's fantastic, but I find myself going back to Dungeon Raid a lot more often.

Loved this on iOS.

I beat this on iOS, it was quite fun.

What's the deal with the lack of iOS quick looks?

I feel like a lot of lip service is given to the iOS platform and its games on recent bombcasts, but there's been no quick looks of these games. Why do we have to wait until a PC release to see what these games are all about? Is there a technical limitation I'm not aware of? I thought iPads had HDMI out. Have they nixed that in favor of Airplay? Where's my middle manager of justice quick look? Where's my Space Team quick look?

Is there anything that can be done about this

Between this, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, Cook, Serve, Delicious and the new Penny-Arcade episode, it is a GOOD TIME for small-scale PC gaming.

Nice stuff. Looks like it probably would control better on iPad but still worth a look in.

Yeah, mouse control doesn't look optimal for this. Looks playable, but certainly looks like it takes much more time to move the mouse pointer over to the right block and then push the row than it would take with a touchscreen. The Intel based Windows 8 tablets can run Steam, can't they? Maybe this could be a good fit for one of those.

@Draxyle: Yup, game had one of the best soundtracks of last year. http://opengameart.org/content/matts-creative-commons-music

Loved this game enough to re-purchase on PC as well as gift a copy to a friend.

This has all the quality of a Kongregate game, IMO.

Yep. Played the Steam version over the weekend. No thanks.

Posted by c0l0nelp0c0rn1

@Kingfalcon: Awesome. More that.

This looks like something that would have come out on DS in 2006.

I like Patrick fine, but I would always take Jeff and Vinny over Patrick and whoever, haha.

I played through the entire game on steam. It was well worth the 3 dollars I spent on it. Over 8 hours to complete the game.

Did... did Vinny just make a Tribe Called Quest reference?

God damn.

And I'm very grateful for it! Most of the PC stuff I play is smaller indie games, since I just have an older laptop, so I love stuff like this. That reminds me, actually, I need to go check out that free Penny Arcade 3 DLC they put out. I loved the base game, so more of that sounds choice.

Back on topic, if this is like 5 bucks or less, I'm in (I think they said 4 dollars in the video, but they've been wrong before, I'll have to boot up Steam and check). Seems like touch controls are better than a mouse for this game, but I can deal.

Vinny nailed it. I can't watch people play match-3 games. The urge to scream out matches is impossible to ignore.

@beard_of_zeus: It is, in fact, 3.99 on Steam.

Indeed! Just bought it and played for an hour. Fun times! Seems like a good game to launch every so often and kill 30-60 minutes.

Posted by Garudoh

Just when I thought I couldn't love Vinny more, he has to go and make a Tribe Called Quest reference. Good on Jeff for immediately picking up on it.

I'm going to rip this off and release the game "9999999.9999..." which is legally, but not mathematically, distinct from 10000000

If I use some math magic and basic Calculus, ill make those the same and SUE YOUR ASS FOR A BILLION DOLLARS

This game is among the best phone games I have played. I don't know how it would be on PC, but I really like it on my phone. I play it a ton.

Wow, I totally missed it until you guys said something.

So... it's a match 3 grind-fest like Puzzle Quest? Didn't I already play this game?

Posted by bobafettjm

So I bought this game on Steam because of this quick look, then proceeded to play it for 4 hours straight.

Posted by chose

I'm fucking sold. Puzzle Quest just got better!

Posted by benitobb

The Tribe Called Quest reference made my night. Love these guys.

Edited by ripelivejam

just got this too (go quick look sales!)

have an iphone but no ipad and think it'd be easier to play on a bigger screen. may spring for the iphone one too as it's only a couple georges.

yeah it looks simple but you can't fault it for the price. apparently we're bringing up the old chestnut of graphics>gameplay again...

e: also got it as the developers claimed to update it with more challenges etc.

Vinny had me laughing out loud in less than 60 seconds. I love Giant Bomb.

I've played about six hours of this game. For whatever reason, I was getting a huge Meteos vibe the whole time.

Posted by gyozilla

This game is great fun. Played it on iPad and beat it in 4 hours (then played some more to max out everything). Still worth 2 bucks.

Posted by bug9329

Had fun with this game on iOS -- hit a bad bug twice on my 4th gen iPod touch: the wood counter stopped incrementing even though I needed more wood to level up and the game showed the pieces being "counted". Weird.

Posted by crusader8463

The game doesn't appeal to me in the least bit, but I can see enough of the "just one more" hooks the game has to get people into that kind of thing. The randomness of whether or not you win and the lack of control you have in combat would frustrate me more then anything.

There will never be another Meteos. :(
