Oh, look!
Another boring indie game.

Posted by superlauth

seems very cool. but it is kind of crazy to watch

oH MaN MOtION SickNEss....

Eugh, Ryan's use of the word momentum really annoyed me. If you always fall down whenever you let go of the 2 button then clearly momentum isn't conserved.

Nothing like Jeff beatboxing to start off my morning!

Trivia: "And yet it moves" is what Galileo Galilei said after the Inquisition made him deny his heliocentric theory. He meant that even with all the pressure to accept the Chuch's geocentric-theocentric views, the Earth still moved.

I'm downloading this game through the Wii Shop Channel right now (1000 Points). I was waiting for the Wii version, because it supposedly comes with some extras and a more refined control scheme :)

I played some of this on PC - but the music gets pretty boring which means the gameplay feels a bit dry after a while. Basically like playing a game with little to no sound - not that fun when you are playing by yourself.

Anyone who isn't digging this needs more drugs in their life.

Sorry it's not Halo enough for you to bro out over.

The French make some of the most interesting games, they make beautiful music too.

You didn't really watch the video then. Your momentum is still in initially in the direction you were moving when you rotate the world.

This looks far too disorienting.

Where is last weeks TANG?

also, small developer or non small developer, the animation in this game is crap, and lazily crap.
...like some-thirteen-year-old-messed-with-flash-tweening bad.

No it isn't "stylish", it's lazy.

And Yet It Moves : A journey of self discovery.
Not sold on the art style but looks cool. I wonder if the Wiimote will work with the PC version.

Wow that looks very interesting. I need to catch up on my arty indie games this year

Wii Ware? Hmm, looks interesting.

Posted by Chicken008

That is crazy awesome, but it looks like that 2nd swing got stuck.

Posted by FDanee

This was great on the PC last year. Really weird game, but good for about 3 hours. Later levels got really frustrating though, with elaborate rotating wheel-like structures.

Posted by Hockeymask27

Ok they are doing this on purpose now. Come on NHL 2k11 quicklook.

Posted by Shibbles

The concept of the game is neat, but it has no momentum. If you're constantly pausing the game to turn, it just seems slow and void of skill.

Posted by DeadFish

Yay!

This game was developed in Vienna, by a group of (then) students of the same university I'm studying at. :) It's a great game!

Posted by Aeterna

This is a bummer because turning stops time... that removes the quick decisionmaking aspect of it.

Posted by ItsAJackal

In Russia, you move it.

I'm falling asleep.
The sound design is really dull and comes off as lazy.

@Dedodido:  I hardly know anything about physics, but doesn't that depend on what the player is actually rotating? If you consider the player to be rotating the little paper guy and the direction of gravity then the guy's direction changes, seemingly without respect to his previous direction meaning his momentum is not conserved, as you say. However, if the player rotates the level itself, the guy is always falling in the same direction meaning his momentum is, in fact, conserved while the player pauses and rotates the room. That sounds good and sciency, right?
Though in fairness Ryan kept referring to it as changing gravity.

Burst out laughing at the gorilla's banana munching.

Looks pretty cool. Although this rarely happens to me with video games, this is getting me kind of dizzy. Hopefully it is different playing it then watching it.

Posted by tineyoghurt

Oh my, I felt like I was getting a headache while watching this.

Posted by Yakow_93

Played it on a pc a little bit, didn't really dig it.

Posted by DirtyEagles

From the name I thought this was a horror game.

Posted by Rolento

I really enjoyed this game on PC.  It has a pretty unique style both visually and conceptually, and the gameplay is precise and has a good difficulty progression.  Definitely worth a purchase in my opinion.

This. Momentum is not the same as gravity. If you knew what you were talking about, you would understand that momentum is "clearly" the appropriate term.

Also, it's the 1 button.

This seems like a rad game.  I love the sounds and the art style.  I'm going to pick this up.

Posted by Protome

Played it on PC (got it with the Indie Love bundle. Or the humble indie bundle, I dunno which one...) but I really didn't like it.

Posted by Nentisys

Pretty cool. Might have to grab the PC version.

Posted by scarace360

My mind is broken after all that.

Posted by Seroth

Gameplay seems cool, but I think the game looks UGLY. Sure, the art style is...unique...but also ugly. Ew. Doesn't sound too great, either.

Posted by Meltbrain

Looks neat. Definitely going to look into the PC version.
