90's west coast Jeff and Vinny is the best kind of Jeff and Vinny.

Posted by WulfBane

I keep thinking the guy on the "box art" has Jeff's Luchadore mask as a nod to the Game Room Endurance Run.

WHAAAAAEEEEEEEEEET?

GAME ROOM LIVES!??

Feels like forever since I watched a Quick Look. Thankful for Vinny & Jeff :D

Welcome to 2013!

Vinny status: confirmed .!

Does arcade popularity lead to intimacy?

Posted by Video_Game_King

Did anybody else notice that they didn't program 28/29 days for February?

Vinny and Jeff? Yay!

FUCK YEAH, I AM ALL OVER THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Why have your own video player when the YouTube player is better in every single way? Loads faster, mouse cursor disappears quickly, seeking is easier, easy to switch video quality on the fly. It's just better. People better use it the most, because if they don't I won't understand that.

Posted by Kananon

Looking around it seems quite a few people took issue with the controls. I'm kind of curious to try it out myself though.

Just noticed what the outside of the building looks like... and I know a barcade that looks eerily similiar to that in Eugene, OR. Freaky!

Hot spot in the middle of the floor! whyyyy?

So, Rick Pennywise making $800 in 1982 is a lot. Using an inflation calculator, that would be the equivalent of a little over $22,000 today.

It's been a long time but we finally get another Vinny Jeff quick look.

Posted by soupbones

This makes me want Jeff to revisit Gameroom.

I use the HTML5 player and it works fine for me.

I don't understand why you care what other people use, though. Doesn't seem like you would have a vested interest.

Nice concept, bad implementation.

I prefer the Giant Bomb player all the way. It doesn't fuck up like YouTube does every now and again.

Don't know if you've seen the number of views on YouTube, but I'm fairly certain it's nowhere near close to the numbers on the site. To be fair, my ideal viewing scenario is a YouTube app on my TV, but the site player is good unless you're a total videophile. Better than it was by a county mile.

Suggestion for future Vinny-involed quicklook:

You could have made this Quicklook longer if you would have fired up Euro Truck Simulator 2 for a couple of hours at the end.

I'm just putting that out there.

Feb 30, 1980 was the best day in recorded history

If Jeff sees this through could we get a review on it?

And we'll be back next year with...Pinballcraft! (I hope. Maybe.)

Posted by crow13

This game would have been the shit if they used real arcade games/ cabinet art. Also this would have been really awesome if you could actually pause the simulator and play your arcade games... would have paid $40 for that...

Posted by Eristocrat

Grammatically it should be AN Arcade

Posted by MeatSim

Yea that new Game Room idea they came up with sounds great.

Posted by LornHg

Cool concept !

Popularity leads to intimacy.

Posted by Ramone

It's day every five seconds by my count so it would take about 3 hours to get to 1986 and 16 to get to 2013.

I think that is a little harsh considering it's a $3 game. I think the core is solid, it just has a lot of room left for making it deeper. If someone would take this to real sim levels it would be freaking rad.

the game is fun but it gets super boring and tedious

That sounds like the literal opposite of "fun."

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. That really bothers me.

To my knowledge, a lot of the older videos are only available in 360p on YouTube, while they’re HD in the GB player. I actually thought all GB YouTube videos were 360p until I checked this one and noticed it was available in 720p — is this a recent change?
