Judging from this video, if you wanted to try this game i'd recommend picking up the first one.

Enjoyed the first Ken's Rage and I'll probably get this eventually

but it's no One Piece: Pirate Warriors.

As a fan of Fist of the North Star I still like this game,but when you look at something like One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 who is also from Koei or Ultimate Ninja Storm 3,Bleach Soul Ignition,etc. you are left disappointed.They either do not think that celshading fit this gritty series or just don't wanna spend more money on smaller budgets.Though they do incredible good job on production of Dynasty Warriors with tons of added value for the fans.

@dyong: Agreed about the dumb fun factor as a friend of mine who likes the Dynasty Warriors games has said the reasoning behind him buying a few of these kind of games. I'm just glad that for a better version of dumb fun there's games for the rest of humanity: Red Faction Guerrilla, Just Cause 2, Far Cry 3 & Saints Row 3.

Man, I had a copy of Fist of the North Star for the Commodore 64 back in the day, an uncle of mine got me a pirated copy but my dad wouldn't let me play it. Now I feel like tracking that game down and seeing what it was like. That'll show my Dad who's boss!

This looks so goddamned stupid, and I can't wait to play it. (downloading for WiiU as we speak)

Aside from the additional story (which I never cared for, aside from Kiaoh's death season 2 was kind of bad) this doesn't seem to really offer anything. I'll check out some reviews, but I guess getting the original for $6 over the holidays was a good buy.

luigis mansion was designed with 3d in mind. the gamecube was even build to output this.

the freakin fast edram was built as a quick framebuffer. nintendo canceled the idea because the market was not big enough for 3d images.

yes people, even 12 years ago there where 3d CRTs, but only for a stupid amount of money.

i am pretty sure nintendo will use the hdmi port to do some fancy 3d stuff now with the WiiU.

I can respect their decision to just sub it with original Japanese VA, not enough games do it like that. The best option would obviously be to include both the Japanese and English VAs and let the player choose but if you need to pick a dub or a sub then I think the latter is much better. Especially for something like this just s sub is probably best considering that it must be way way way cheaper than doing full English dubs that would probably end up sucking ass anyway like they do more often than not.

Well, if we're all going to talk about Luigi's Mansion... I played it for the first time a few months ago, and it's pretty fun, just super short (took me around 4 hours).

Watching this again, I have to wonder why this isn't playing as the BGM

ESPN X-treme Sports 2 had a FUCKING ROCKING soundtrack. Ryan and Brad know what is up.

Worth it for the giant hammer at the end.

they were gonna ship it with a 3D screen overlay peripheral, iirc.

Downloading this from the eShop now. Time it takes to download 12 gigs? 9 hours. pfff.

Actually, if you are thinking of the graphic nature of the movie, that's a lot different from the show on which the game is based. In it a lot of the exploding bodies were "censored" with white blood or simply blowing up in shadows instead of the guts and mess of the movie... I personally prefer it in the style of the series, but I partially dislike the movie for telling the story all wrong.

I like the musou games a lot, but I will be the first to admit that musou games are Madden for Asians. Sometimes you won't always see the difference between titles unless you are invested into the series.
