Those patch notes are pipin' hot!

Is this Brad, Patrick, and Ryan's 24 hour Medal of Honor stream for the children?

Posted by bunnymud

Is Brad on his period in this QL?

"Uggh..pizza..."

"DON'T TOUCH THAT!! DON'T TOUCH ME!!!"

"uhhhhgggggg"

Posted by YOU_DIED

god damn, this game looks really uninspired

Unless I'm mistaken, this is now the longest Quick Look on the site.

EA might've hoped that sending them free pizza would make them go softer on the game.

How wrong they were.

Edited by Blackout62

And now I want pizza. Damn you EA and Medal of Honor. Also your choice of electroswing background music is excellent.

Edit: Apparently Mountain Mike's still knows my phone number and name from the last time I ordered two months ago, certainly weird.

Until Gran Turismo 6 comes out.

Posted by Skanker

I ended up watching Kevin VanOrd play the final stretch of this game on Gamespot's Twitch. Man, the ending was kinda bad!

Posted by UnrealDP

@MooseyMcMan: There was a Gran Turismo one that was a beast, but I think you're right.

Pizza Look

Posted by Godlyawesomeguy

I saw a girl giving a blowjob through a pizza today on a porn site..........so, Medal of Honor is a game........

2012 - Multi disc games.

Posted by Morningstar

I'll pick this up for 20 bucks down the road.

Posted by Godlyawesomeguy

The intro to this video, before the gameplay, is awesome.

Quick Look: Pizza

Game of the Year, folks. Give it up for Pizza.

Posted by algertman

New Premium Content - Eat Pizza and Read Patch Notes.

Posted by MrKlorox

Well, Patrick clearly didn't come in with a chip on his shoulder.

Posted by Kartana

Why can't I skip forward in those videos??!?!

Posted by Rrang

Anyone know the song they play at the beginning while installing the HD pack?

Posted by Doskias

"Interrupting the installation process may cause problems." I think that bit was written by Robocop. "There will be... trouble."

Posted by algertman

You can pay MS and/or Sony to release buggy games that shouldn't be released? That explains so much.

Edited by Lurkero

Because Medal of Honor: Soldier wasn't good enough.

With how short first person shooters are these days I think they may have played through half the game. I mean, that driving sequence is way longer than it needs to be.

Posted by zombie2011

The beginning was cool, it reminded me of COD but the later levels just looked boring.

Posted by MiniPato

Does Patrick have a grudge against the developers of this game? Seems like he was constantly looking for something to hate.

Posted by bunnymud

I really believe Brad has tunnel-vision

Posted by SgtSphynx

I want pizza now.

Posted by cabrit_sans_cor

I remember extensively playing the first two MOH games back on the PSX. It's really fucking weird to see how different the series has become.

Posted by jerseyscum

Ok. I was loling with Patrick reading the patch notes.

Posted by Phatmac

Longest quick look ever?

Posted by Rabid619

This was... something. A real shooter fatigue has taken over me lately, the only FPS that has managed to get past it recently was Borderlands 2.

@Rrang said:

Sure do, it's become a staple of Giant Bomb and a real guilty pleasure of mine.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must dance.

Posted by Sparky245

Brad is an obsessive compulsive reloader. I'm not alone :')

Or it is because EA and Danger Close have done everything in their power to make a scarily generic videogame.

Posted by OrwellHuxZam

I think I would watch the guys eat pizza sans video game.

I think a lot of games press are pissed off at EA not sending them copies until the game came out. Understandable really. When movie studios have done that it has backfired on them with reviews - but those don't matter once you're spending over a certain amount of money on a film, as you'll almost certainly make a profit. Remains to be seen if that strategy will work for EA.

At the very least, the situation is funny.

supplementary video bombcast about MoH!?

yo remember MOHAA? MOHAA was good I was a big fan of MOHAA.

Posted by Hef

I'll definitely pick this up during the next steam sale.

Oh wait....

Posted by R3DT1D3

The hardest quicklook to watch as a shooter fan. Patrick just complained about shooters the whole time and Brad was ignoring any clues on to how to play the game. At least Ryan paid attention and had some good jokes.

Posted by Godlyawesomeguy

The bullshit tough guy attitude of this game is really unappealing.

Posted by Hogans_Hotdogs

Is sending them pizza bribery? Can someone go to jail for this??

Edited by MordeaniisChaos

Do they play this on PC or console?

EDIT: Damnit. Oh well. No HD for me.

Is anyone else weirded out by how "uninspired" is the thing people are saying is wrong with the game that is trying to be as authentic and close to reality as possible? Isn't that just what you should be expecting?

Man, if EA really sent that pizza with the patch notes, props to em.

I also think it's pretty silly how sensationalist Giant Bomb is being about the patch notes. It's pretty simple: EA wanted the game gold at a certain time. The game wasn't quite polished. They kept working on it. It's not like it was a hot fucking mess on going to Gold. The game works when you buy it.

They give patch notes, which is awesome, but you guys just give it shit? None of those issues listed are really all that silly or crazy, but you guys think it's oh so amusing. You're essentially seeing bugs that would be fixed in testing normally.

I really like the idea of Act of Valor but in video game game form. I hope this game is at least enjoyable in the ways that movie was. Gorgeous as fuck, at least on PC so I'll almost certainly play it now that I have a kick ass video card to run it.

I think it's unfair to complain about picking up ammo manually in a game like this, even though I don't think you have to do it manually (although, with how they seem to handle other weapons, maybe you totally won't see many weapons with the same ammo as what you're using).

Also, it says breach and CLEAR. Make sure you do the latter or you'll get shot a bunch :3

Plus, you can see the round impacting. It's kind of an insane amount of drop for 130 meters, but you can pretty clearly see it. Take a damn second to look where your round impacts, count mildots, adjust. It's a bit silly, because you're not that far away, and rifles have zeroing abilities for a reason, but come on. There's a big cloud of dust when you miss.

Christ guys, did you not pay any attention to what this is trying to be? Spectacle isn't what they are going for. Stop bitching that it isn't. I don't mind if it isn't for you, but stop acting like it's inferior because it's not trying to be even more like Call of Duty.

I will say I wish they used the Airborne cover mechanic. You had analogue control of your position so you could lean just enough, peak up just enough, etc. It felt pretty good.

*gruff voice* There's a grenade... in the code...

Mikes are minutes. So if "birds" are 20 "mikes" out, they would take 20 minutes to arrive on the scene.

The grenade indicator does give an idea of distance, as well. The redder it is, the closer you are.

Man, sometimes the GB guys just nitpick over really stupid shit

I really couldn't care at all about MoH, but 90 minutes of pure negativity is not appealing.

I love how Patrick constantly complains that game stories are dumb and simplistic and we need intense indie games to show us the way, and then he can't follow the plot on a Goddamn modern military game.

Posted by Draxyle

Oh man, I had missed the first 20 minutes of the livestream. I'm glad I went back to watch them.
