i can't wait to watch this. From my experience, Gameloft games are complete crap wrapped in shiny tin foil. I'm assuming this isn't an exception to the rule.

That zoom thing that they commented on? Is totally in Counter-Strike. That MP5 looks a lot like the one from Counter-Strike. But the quality of the game does not look like Counter-Strike.
 
The MW/CS thing is a neat idea, but the round based structure is arguable the most important thing. If you are just going to go straight Deathmatch then I can't say I see much point.

Modern Combat, the equivalent of Transmorphers to the Transformers movie. I'd really hope this doesn't become a trend. There is another game named Dungeons which just seems like Dungeon Keeper.

Am i the only one who remembers Battlefield 2: Modern Combat? because thats all i think of when i hear the name.
 
This has an old ass Xbox game appeal to me, like a Urban Chaos, CS xbox mish mash...id be tempted to try it if it was 2005.

The iPhone game, Modern Combat 2 was actually pretty impressive.

Does anyone else hate that "empty city area" background noise that a lot of bad games use? Like, really? It's the most desolate, boring sound possible. 
 
For what it is, it looks fine. And look, no regenerating health for the people that won't stop complaining about it.

I like the idea of this game, but like Jeff, I agree the quality is a little janky. 
 
When it works right it is a really fun game.  Too bad I have only been in a couple of matches that played relatively lag free.

Don't let iphone gamers confuse you, this game sucked on the iphone too.  Gameloft games have a definite lack of thought that permeates through all their games.  They make a LOT of average games, never have made a great game.

I watched this and it made me want to play Counter-Strike. From a quick look at the rest of the comments, it seems others had similar thoughts. Anything but Generic Shooter: Contemporary Fighting.
