This game looked great at PAX East. I hope the gameplay meshes with the look.

art style looks different thats for sure

I'm bummed that this is an Xbox Live Indie Game, which means no Xbox release in Australia. Thinking I might wait for the iPad version.

Posted by tescovee

kinda lame it wont have xbla cheevos.

Posted by ManiacMaysin

this looks amazing

@MEATBALL: Just get the PC version?

It's not going to be very resource intensive.

Played it at PAX and can confirm that the humour is consistent with the rest of the Penny Arcade Adventures. Looking forward to more of this!

Patrick Klepek on every single quick look......

I only ever played part 1. I might pick up part 2 later just for the hell of it.

Is this gonna be on Steam or download from their own site?

Posted by theimmortalbum

Man I loved the first 2 of these, so glad they're coming back!

Posted by jrlyon

I just want to say I am thrilled to get QLs back after E3!. Thanks duders.

Final Fantasy 6 is Final Fantasy 6.

It's pretty self explanatory...

Since they've all came out, you can stop thinking 3 is 6.

Posted by bloodsoul5

why always with the ryan and patrick quicklooks.

Posted by Klei

Not my kind of game.

The music is pretty great.

This seems pretty solid! I wasn't expecting much from PA ep3 but color me pleasantly surprised.

Writing = Awesome. But still FUCK turn based battle systems. If I wanted to play chess I would play chess.

Wild Drew appearance!

Posted by Hyperfludd

So hyped.

Posted by boxoflawls

Surprise Drew in the mix!

Posted by Eeptog

I'm not seeing the appeal. Even the humor isnt that great.

Yay Drew!

I love the music in this. Great throwback to the old SNES days.

I'd imagine Steam, as Zeboyd's other games have been released there.

The writting is awesome and no-random encounters is great, too bad I'm not into the retro 8-bit style look but it looks like a fun little game.

Posted by xbob42

Game looks really great!

Posted by MrBlueJackle

Zeboyd is throwing in Cthulhu Saves The World for Steam purchases in the first week.

I don't know why, but I don't have that game. So, yay!

I know, it's only 2.99... but I like gifts!

The humor is good, the class combination mechanic looks neat and I like that there's no random encounters and you always start with full HP and items but the actual battle system is just so basic it leaves me a bit underwhelmed. Something more like a chrono trigger system where you're waiting for the enemies to line up and fighting in real time or even just the paper mario mechanic of hitting X at the correct time to do more damage would have made the combat more interesting but as it is this seems like 80% story, 20% game. I don't know if I want to do that for 8-10 hours.

I think it looks pretty good. I'll probably play it; i liked the first two games and breath of death VII.

Posted by Mandrewgora

I'm very excited for this.

Posted by TheRandomKo

Aw fuck! Xbox Live Indie is not available in most countries outside the US, and i wanna play this on my xbox!

Posted by spartica

Can someone tell me how much the other two are and where I can get them?

Thanks!

Posted by wapostyle

Yeah I don't need to see more than 30 seconds of this. I'm in.

Posted by Ten19

Not sure it was necessary for them to read aloud EVERYTHING while playing :/

Posted by TwoLines

I laughed. I'll buy this.

Music and writing seem dead-on but man, those faux 16-bit graphics are miserable. I guess they make it look bad, which is enough to make you remember SNES games? I kind of wish they went a little further in general - a lot of stuff just doesn't have sound effects, for no good reason, which makes it feel kind of sparse when you listen to it.

The gameplay seems kind of lacking in real decisions to make, also, but maybe it opens up once you get those class pins they found at the end and stops being button spam.

This game seems pretty endearing. Interesting. Not played any of the other ones yet though

Posted by ervonymous

Huh, Grandiaesque 'turn' system in combat, might be cool if it goes all out with it.

Don't get me wrong, I love Zeboyd's games but all of them end up with you having to mash the "attack" button.

SHUT UP! and take my money! :)

Posted by Dberg

Pretty great battle music.

Posted by Solh0und

I should've bought the first two when they were on sale for $5 on psn. D'oh!

You can't stop Drew Scanlon and bad mime puns.
