What is this!

Edited by ateatree

Speaking of thievery...

Ah well. I'm interested to see how this game melds rhythm and puzzles - I'm a big fan of EBA and the like, though I never got that far down the Professor Layton hole.

Always be dancing!

Oh, I was not prepared for this. Will watch.

Yeah! Lets steal some Rhythm's! I'm an ice cold Rhythm thief!

Edited by Argo15

Uh? interesting

Edited by sawtooth

Hey, where did all my rhythm go?

I do enjoy games where it promotes attempting a french accent with the dialogue.

Napoleon never struck me as that evil.

Posted by Nemesis2K

Is this not out in NA yet? Had this game for a few months, yet to play it though.

Posted by Wikitoups

That dog looks awfully like wishbone!

Posted by pyrodactyl

Is there something more hilarious than Jeff, trying to speak french?

Also, Napoleon didn't have a blonde goat-T

The demo of this was fun, but I don't think it was fun enough to warrant a purchase

Even the dog barks with a stereotypical french accent. They're pretty dedicated to that choice, I see.

Color me intrigued, the game looks to have a pretty cool style to it. I might need to actually nab a 3DS someday soon.

Posted by Jolt92

Hmm, I will probably get this. Seems up my alley, really liked the demo too.

It's been out in North America for a couple of weeks.

This looks cool. One more game to try out when I eventually get a 3DS.

Posted by SlightConfuse

This game looks cools will pick it up

I was ready to write this game off, but after actually seeing it I might buy it lol.

Edited by zyn

Looks good, will buy.

EDIT: Just found out that this game is already out in the UK.

You can't steal my Rhythm! I never had any to begin with.

First dance crimes and now rhythm crimes! What is this world coming to?

This has a major Lupin the 3rd feel to it. When does Jegen and Goemon come in and wreck shit?

I haven't watched the video yet. Is the music this good?

Posted by BooDoug187

@Skanker: Music sounds decent. Just the little cut scene were Phamtom R does a little break dance kind of move to escape the guards. Also the guards kinda looked like the evil killers from Castle of Cagliostro

This game seems a bit awesome, A bit of Layton mixed with Rythm Heaven.

Posted by Phatmac

Wow this game looks great!

Posted by Lizzie323

It's a really charming game :)

Also you were minutes away (inside Notre Dame) from one of the best & most beautiful rhythm sequences!

Posted by JackSukeru

Right now Theaterhythm is filling my rhythm needs, but I've played the demo of this some ways back and enjoyed it so I'll probably pick it up eventually.

I know that's dumb and useless, but I'm living just by Place de la Concorde. Seeing my place on a videogame map feels weird.

Posted by sissylion

Between the accordions and the architecture, I always assumed that the Layton universe was some amalgam of pre-industrial Britain and France. Guess I was wrong.

Posted by teh_destroyer

It will cost you 100 medals for you to see my violin.

Posted by GoneZombie

If Layton plot twists hold, the big reveal is that EVERYONE'S NAPOLEON!!1!

Posted by Terra1909

Is it just me or are the menu sounds straight from Rhythm Heaven?

The dog has a French woof! Sold.

Posted by fox01313

Might be fun but still prefer the character & charm of the Layton games over this.

Posted by Moonshadow101

I'm pretty into the phrase "Chevalier Diabolique."

Posted by RecSpec

Finished this game, and while it didn't quite live  up to my (unfairly high) expectations. It was still enjoyable.
That ending though, yuck.

Posted by SuperWristBands

This game looks really cool. I am a sucker for pretty much anything that inserts rhythm into it's gameplay and the breakdance cutscene was pretty cool and I loved the "show's over folks". I just wish that the characters were adults. I'd be far more appealing to me if that were the case, but I get it, appeal to children and an all ages crowd instead of adults.
Still, it's one of the most interesting games on the 3DS and when I eventually get one I'd like to have this game too.

Posted by Paboned

that was perfect timing for BITCH!

Posted by RichieJohn

Yet another reason to buy a 3DS.

Need to get me some £.

Posted by RetroVirus

Man, the French love their orphan protagonists.

Edited by gbrading

Rhythm Heaven meets Professor Layton, in Paris.

Gold medal, I'm sold. Also, why does Napoleon look nothing like Napoleon? Phantom R could turn out to be as memorable a character as Prof Layton or Miles Edgeworth.

Posted by MrBubbles

i'm gonna say it raphael looks like a chick with short hair

Posted by Sonny009

this is probably the funniest fight sequence ive ever seen.
