Hey, I heard from a certain source that this is worth playing.

Posted by AMyggen

I looked this game up after Alex tweeted about it, and it looks fucking fantastic.

Posted by lilman1101

The amount of Vinny and Alex makes me so, so happy.

No one can be told what the Fall is.

Posted by EthanielRain

Was hoping this would be the movie, MST3K-style.

Posted by Fuwano

GBeast is making GB SF look lazy. Was pretty skeptical of the move but I'm loving it!

Posted by CaLe

Totally bought and finished this yesterday based solely on Vinny's tweet. I rarely play through a game in one sitting these days but this one kept me all the way through.

Yeah, Patrick did a video on this that already made me want it. Any more video and I'm basically spoiling it for myself. As much as I want to hear Vinny talk about it.

Ah hell, who am I kidding? *click*

Wow this looks really good, I am a little put off by the whole episodic thing in general though.

Oooh I love one-sitting games! Might give this a go.

This does indeed look pretty awesome, I wound up stopping the Quick Look after 15 minutes because it looked so great and didn't want to see more without playing it myself. :P

Black and whiteish side scroller with a gun and 'the Fall' in the title. Deja Vu.

Happy to oblige, Mr. Caravella!

By the door!! Arg!

That totally confused me for a minute, I thought I'd watched this video last week.

I know its not obvious but there are few things more frustrating then him walking by the thing he is looking for multiple times without using the flashlight on it.

Oh awesome, was interested to see more of this game.

I bought this immediately after Patrick first showed it here. It was a bit short but I absolutely didn't regret that purchase. Definitely worth playing...

I think you're right. They got the basics and now they're just going hard to work out all the kinks in their setup and get used to their new space, and we get to reap the benefits in the form of a million videos! Hooray Giant Beast!

Posted by bybeach

Tell em what-is Alex!...Don't let Vinny control your consensus reality!

Posted by jrot24

I think it's weird that the game's episodic, but each episode is priced individually. Sort of breaking muh comfortable formula.

Edited by SirThirdFilms

who is that one voice actor!?!?!? It is driving me crazy that I can't place it

Also the part where the main office probably handles all the logistics and corporate bullshit must help a lot.

I kind of trailed off in thought during the Worth Playing this was on, but I'm glad there was a second look at this on the site. I'll have to add this to my Game to Play List.

Does ARID know how to pick up the pepper and put it in the right place?

I sure hope not!

I was a little wary as to the quality of this given the amount of hype that has been brewing for it from Vinny and Alex, but man... this does look to be something really special. Outstanding atmosphere for starters, and the early story hooks do a great job in grabbing your attention, with some really solid voice work. Peter Dinklage, take note ;)

Edited by CaLe

The voice actor reminds me of how Wil Wheaton read the audiobook version of Ready Player One at certain points.

I think QLs are more GBeasts primary objective that SF, which is basically HQ.

Posted by AMyggen

@cale: Hah, now I can't unhear that.

Edited by andrew2696

Wait...is that Cookie Masterson? That voice is familiar but I thought the voice actor for Cookie Masterson is locked in a room somewhere and force to read lines for YDKJ.

Fucking Bought! This is all the way my shit!

UGH! Tell me about it. So bummed I missed it. I really like the part where you make dinner for the family...

I wasn't super interested at first, but this got really appealing halfway through.

Also, ARID sounds a lot like Ali Hillis (Lightning in FFXIII, Liara in Mass Effect) to my ears.

Ah, The Fall! Now I understand. I thought Alex and Vinny were raving about Black The Fall which they Quick Looked last week.

This looks way better!

I played this a while ago, It's got some.. questionable combat.. and puzzles... but the whole atmosphere is pretty great. And the ending is really cool too. The whole pseudo asimovian 3 rules of robots and the conflict between duty and programming is extremely interesting.

I wish it was a bit more abstract as it loses it's evocative spirit towards the end, but it's still highly recommended.

I don't really know how they'll handle the episodic aspect of it, as the narrative is pretty closed by the end of this.. not terribly, but somewhat.

@vinny and yes, dinner is super nutritious. I also love the baby pacifier system.

also, just wanted to say, that it's awesome that you get so genuinely excited about games mr. Vinagawa. Makes me happy.

Well, 15 minutes in and I already know I wanna buy this.

Posted by Codicier

The voice of the administrator robot sounds like one of the Rooster Teeth guys (Red vs Blue Halo machinema).

Posted by Sarumarine

The droid that tries to hack you at the beginning really reminds me of the guy who does Max Payne. Only it's more like his voice from his character in Alan Wake.

Would you say that this is Worth Playing?

The voice actor sounds like Geoff Ramsey. He voices Grif in RvB.

Edit: It just sounds like him a lot, no idea if it is him.

Edited by xite

Looks like a really interesting story.

It reminds me of what I wanted the Crysis series to focus more on. You're actually controlling a suit that just happens to have an unconscious/dying/dead guy inside.

Edited by Mister_V

Was getting a strong Handsome Jack vibe from that speaker guy - robot - thing.

Not sure why Alex keeps freaking out about invisible ninjas, but this looks great :)

Edited by Jedo

I don't like when people rip off Limbo, but this is still really interesting. I wish there was a space sim attached to it.

Posted by Fuwano

@accolade: Yeah my comment wasn't a criticism of the SF crew, just praise for Vinny and Alex.
