Apologies if the question has already been asked, but are there any old PC games for this feature that Giant Bomb is looking for? I have boxes of them collecting dust as I inherited a couple peoples collections of games out of college. Most stuff is probably available via download now but if there's anything you're looking for I'd be glad to see if I have it.

Or should I paw through it, find the "best" stuff and just send it you?

edit: I pawed through some of it and here are some of the more interesting finds, its mostly late 90s early 00s stuff:

  • Blade Runner
  • Dark Forces
  • Die by the Sword
  • Freespace
  • Forsaken
  • Hexen 2
  • Independence War
  • Interstate 76
  • Privateer 2
  • Wing Command 3 & 4
  • Myth
  • Star Trek "A Final Unity"
  • Start Trek "Judgement Rights"
  • DS9: The Fallen
  • Nox
  • Clive Barkers Undying
  • Anachronox
  • Nocturne
  • Arcanum
  • And a sealed copy of the Command and Conquer Renegade Soundtrack...

There a bunch more.

GiantBomb 2, that's it, eh Dave?

Actually that is pretty damned good. This game suprises me, but I am not sure what I even mean by that...reminds me faintly of Hard reset for some of the explanation bullshit....

The wierd guy is actually the best actor, but I have no reference for the hair style..and yeah I would of chosen the pills. Blue or red...

@daggon55: I would love to watch these guys playing Die By The Sword. Just saying!

Random PC Games are always the best.

The guy who played Cutter was recently in an episode of I Shouldn't Be Alive, so there's that.

Posted by Relshak

Oh man. You guys doing these horrible games always makes the subscription worth it.

I have PC game suggestions, but I liked pretty good games (even obscure ones) and they wouldn't be nearly as funny as this stuff.

Thanks to Ryan for joining this one. Keep on keepin' on, fellas.

Loved the presence of Ryan Davis on this. Without him, they'd still be trying to get the car off the ground.

I rarely comment on the excellent stuff you guys do but I could not let this pass.

This was the best thing I've seen in ages. So funny.

Justified my annual subscription in one go.

Bravo

Always enjoy these way better when other members of the crew are along for the ride.. Namely this one and The Ripper. Ryan and/or Jeff just bring an energy that these videos really benefit from.

The addition of Ryan, his excitement, and his dynamic with Vinny and Dave made this my favorite Random RC Game episode yet.

Blade Runner, the Star Trek games, Myth and Undying are pretty hard to find these days, especially the license games, as they are unlikely to ever get re-released due to the licenses changing hands. Most of the other games are available on either GOG or Steam, with the C&C series available on Origin, or they've been made available for free or even open source (like Forsaken and Freespace). They've already done a RPCG thing on Wing Commander 3, and I guess that's all we can expect to see of that series. But, yeah, some Blade Runner or more Star Trek games would be interesting.

This was fantastic! Great return for the feature.

I seem to remember the Blade Runner game being "special". Also, I remember Star Trek: A Final Unity having some awful voice acting from the TNG cast. I think Jonathan Frakes was particularly bad. Maybe GB doesn't want to tempt the Frakes devil-god after their last run in with him during the All-Star Poker QL.

Highly enjoyable
Vinny screwing around with win31 at the end was fun.

Posted by Milpool

Aw, I wish they had finished it.

I feel like Ryan is a little overbearing in combination with Vinny / Dave. I appreciate the banter he adds but it becomes a little much at times.

Posted by ashogo

This game is so dumb. I wish they had played more of it.

Great to see RPG back!

I would love to see an indie developer make a new game like this with that retro cheesy graphics and humor with intentionally bad acting.

@mewarmo990: Bladerunner was an awesome game and one they could totally play on a random PC-game, didnt take that long to finish either IIRC.

Edited by SatelliteOfLove

I love these, it's like a bunch of people who never played a game up and decided to after watching like 15 minutes of one.

Loved the bladerunner adventure game. Playing with the photo analyser... :D

These features needs to continue with the crappiest of games, I think those make for the biggest laughs. I don't want to see a video of them going through Blade Runner or Dark Forces as these games are to this day still so great. I'm thinking more in the line of the Phantasmagoria video or Tex Muprhy etc. - there's such a goldmine of early/mid-nineties FMV atrocities to suffer through.

Posted by prestonhedges

You can't tell me that's not Jeff Jarrett in that chair-stupid-video-game-within-the-video-game thing.

Oh no you didn't. The Tex Murphy games are not crap.

Man, this game look like something Tex Murphy either shat out or regurgitated after a hefty weekend in company with loose women and hard liquor. Still, fun to watch.

The music at the start has to be from the old simcity. HAS TO BE

Posted by Jasoncourt

Oh man, Ryan is on this one :(. Too many orders and complaints and facts I don't care about (sorry, just my opinion, don't mean to be a jerk, even if I am). Maybe I'll come back to this later. Please leave it to just Dave and Vinny (perhaps Drew) for Random PC Game videos. Pleeeaaase

Edited by Benny

I love Ryan's enthusiasm in this, especially when that dude kills vinny out of nowhere.
