I hope no one is stupid enough to think they didn't anticipate this, though. They had this all planned out in case they needed to delay the game, and they're just going through the motions because they know everyone has one last chuckle left in them for that joke, and they're going to take advantage of it.

I don't even care that he hammed the whole reaction. "DUKE NEVER COMES EARLY" made it all worth it.
 
Though, makes me wonder if they actually delayed it on purpose, as a PR stunt.

wasnt it brad or vinny who said they should delay the game just for the lolz on the bombcast. thanks gearbox for the lolz and the duke.  i can wait. i needed the delay. Portal 2 and MK come a week or two earlier

Honestly, at this point, I've waited 15 years, I can wait another 6 weeks. I'd rather have it polished than buggy.

Ha, I bet no one saw this coming. 

It sucks that it's been delayed again, but the phrase "Duke never comes early" was worth it.

Duke must have the worst blueballs ever if it's been over 12 years since he last came.

They called it on the giant bombcast a few weeks ago, they should've put a bet on it.
