Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Will Have Ridiculous Weapons

That Rocket launcher could use more barrels 8 just isn't enough.

These weapons do not look as creative as in past games. Let's hope this is just the tip of the iceberg and that wackier weapons await. It would be neat if they had character specific weapons. How about a laser for Quark that turns enemies into crazed fans?

Dumb names alone does not an Insomniac-grade weapon make.

Those guns were rather tame. Lets not forget the RYNO V from Crack in Time. A massive gattling gun that spewed rockets and played part of the 1812 Overture.

the upgraded Harbinger was my favourite gun in Ratchet: Deadlocked (which i thought was a very fun game)

The first Rachet and Clank game had more ridiculous weapons than displayed in this video...  Remember back in the days of Playstation TV adverts when they had awesome live action video?  When they can bring that kind of game again let me know.  Until then I'll be on the PS2 playing all the good versions.

@JTB123: I consider the RYNO V to be the pinnacle of weapon technology; anything that doesn't play the finale to the 1812 Overture while you fire it is inherently inferior.

I didn't find any of these weapons to be particularly ridiculous by RnC standards.

I'd rather they continued with the search for lombaxes with a complete single player like Crack in Time. It had great gameplay mechanics and variability and told an interesting story.

They will never surpass the RYNO 2. But these look pretty great regardless.

R&C HD version of the ps2 games and also Jak and Daxter HD, now that would be awesome
have only played  the first two in each franchise.

Everything about this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Like a crossover between the Lucasarts I USED to know and love, and something like Shadow Complex. LOVE IT.

Who's surprised by amazingly-weird weapons in the Ratchet franchise?

While I love the Ratchet & Clank franchise, this doesn't look like much more than a co-op dual joystick shooter in a fleshed out universe. And as Tomb Raider showed us, that can be a good thing. Just probably not a great thing.

yeah that coop could be kind of cool in a ratchet game.

@Abyssfull: if you have a chance play Going Commando also Tools of Destruction and Crack in time are good as well.

Ratchet and Clank is my all time favorite series however All 4 one has zero interest to me.

I'd love to get into this series, though there's just so damn many. Really hope for a HD collection of the PS2 entries to surface soon.

I hope that "Warmonger" thing isn't supposed to be the Ryno. That would suck.
