I think someone had a good idea here and it got perverted by underestimating the audience's intelligence. Look Around You's humor isn't that hard to get right, but subtle, dry humor requires a lot of faith in your audience to pick up on it. Hell, most of Look Around You's "jokes" are just blatant misinformation and made up stuff. Someone in marketing decided that was too risky and fell back on safe, bland humor.

I'm just gonna assume that the dainty hand wielding the pie was Kim Swift.

I'm really looking forward to this game, but that was a pretty lackluster trailer. Thankfully, everything else I've seen from the game looks great.

That pie lacked pie filling. It was just crust and whipped cream.

Yes everyone, this game is OBVIOUSLY a terrible attempt to ape Portal! Even though that video was nothing like Portal's promo videos.

I feel like this game is trying too hard, I want to like it but it's putting me off more than anything else.

Ughhhh this is the worst! Why make an unfunny version of Look Around You? We already have a FUNNY version of Look Around You!

Sigh, I've seen several trailers, and I know nothing of this game beyond 'you can make things heavier or lighter.' I know for a Portal-esque puzzle game you wouldn't need much more, but these trailers tell you nothing about the game beyond that one fact. I haven't even seen any multistep puzzles. As far as I know, everything in this game will be solved either by making something heavy to break something or push a button, or light enough to float and be used as a platform.

Jeez at least put some AA on your 15 seconds of game footage. Almost cut my eyeballs on those jaggies.

Yup, 'cuz I actually went (recently) and bought the hell out of the Look Around You DVDs. Even getting one of them imported from the BBC store overseas, and having to rip and region unlock the discs so I could watch them on my gear. 'Cuz that was GOOD comedy, unlike this pale imitation, IMHO.

Is this going to have a full disc release or is it going to be on Xbox Live and PSN?

Can we please stop using the played out joke of "I'm gonna use the word 'science' to replace any noun, verb, or adjective because it shows that I really don't know anything about science. Isn't that funny how I try to fruitlessly hide the fact that I don't know anything about science?"

This trailer was alright, as mentioned it was kind of like a less subtle Look Around You. That said the only reason why I want to get Quantum Conundrum is because Airtight Games worked on it, and I want to support the company that made Dark Void.

However Portal relations don't matter to me, especially in regards to humor since I thought it was pretty damn awful when I was watching a friend playing the second one. Still, hope the puzzles are interesting.

This could have been cool if it was actually about Physics in any way, or funny.

First Giantbomb staff mention their concern and now this awful attempt at humour.

I really want this game to be good but I guess I'm gonna wait for the quick look. Pre-order bonus be damned.

I hope that these science videos are FMV sequences in parts of the game. Seem amusing enough that they'd fit in the game somewhere.

That was the most boring shit I've seen from a trailer since the dinosaurs roamed the earth.
