This is looking pretty great so far!

Still using the RE4/5 3rd person over the shoulder. It was obvious they would continue to follow that route ()though part of me which they coulda found a compromise, like Ubisoft's Cold Fear)

You can walk and aim AT THE SAME TIME! I know this is old but I'm happy to see it in a Resident Evil game, maybe it will inspire Deadly Premonition 2 ;)

boooooring. Shiny graphics, new moves, cheesy story and voice acting. No innovation, no survival horror, oh and did I say no innovation. Looks like more and more of the same.

the giraffe/fellatio logo is actually a photoshop. the original does not look quite as suggestive.

Why on earth would you end your trailer with fast paced editing. It's like they are trying to blank viewer's mind about everything they saw when they are desperately trying to take it all in.

"Wait what was that, wai..., hold o..., wha...? Oh, so it's over and some shit happens in this one, cool."

I don't know what this series is trying to be...

Hahahaha wayy too crazy. Would have loved a proper Resident Evil (proper survival horror and scary a la Resident Evil 2) but hot damn it's so crazy it might actually turn good.

Yes I know the trailer looks flashy. I recall the RE5 trailers looking great but the game leaving me disappointed and so I anticipate that this will be the case with RE6.

RE4 was a revolution and RE5 felt stale and boring and I suspect RE6 will be boring too (unfortunately...).

Hopefully they improve the controls since this seems even more action based than RE5.

RE5 was fun for what it was. Don't get me wrong, RE4 is a fucking great game, a classic and everything but RE5 took away Ashley, added co-op, weapon quick select, made the controls better. RE4 felt longer, the item management was kind of fun and is no doubt a better game, but RE5 was still good. Like, I would play RE5 again before playing RE1 (even the GC/Wii remake) because RE5 is a lot of fun, where as RE1 is a frustrating, not-so-fun struggle with controls and mechanics to get some good story and atmosphere here and there. Basically yeah I don't get the RE5 hate it was a solid game.

No no, don't get me wrong, I'm not hating RE5, it just felt boring and I felt like I was wasting my time playing it.

And I agree with you, if I had to play either RE1 or RE5 right now, I'd pick 5.

@gustl: Even over REmake? Damn... RE5 is fun but given the choice REmake all the way.

I never got the Resident Evil series but fucking god damn, if this ain't a good trailer.
