Now that's a long trailer.

Is that Ashley? I hope she isn't as awful as she was in RE4. Looks better than her RE4 counterpart but still sounds kind of annoying.

This trailer is actually pretty promising. It looks like they are getting back to a creepy and scary vibe.

Resident Evil is one of my favorite game series and when I heard there were going to be zombies again I was sold but this looks way better then I imagined.

Why does it look like three different games in one? You have the AMAZING looking Leon gameplay, Chris Redfields Call of Duty/Metal Gear Solid 4 gameplay and then you have that co-op looking gameplay that looks just like RE5. Doesn't matter, I like it.

Hey guys, I saw Leon moving... WHILST SHOOTING!!!

It looks like 5 different games in the same trailer. Guys, I think this could outdo Metal Gear Solid in terms of large-scale insanity. Also: COVER SHOOTING WHY GOD WHY!?

Ok, done sold. As long as I can move while shooting and it isn't all co-op all the time this will be a game I will happily purchase. If not... I'll probably buy it anyways. Damn you Resident Evil.

Pretty awesome trailer. I loved RE4 and enjoyed RE5, so sure, I'll play another one, why not?
 
Seems like a lot of aspects to this game, from the wide swath of characters, to the different gameplay styles and tones - some of it seemed like all-out shooting madness, but the section with Leon at the start seemed more rooted towards survival horror. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a mess.

Capcom decided to bring 'Playability' in line with current gen 3rd Person titles like Gears and Dead Space. And it looks bloody gorgeous. First time the voice work doesn't seem to sound like a 'translation' too, at least to my non-native ears. Production quality out the wazoo.

I get to play as Leon Kennedy again, sweet. He was always my favorite.

1: it looks like it has a A LOT of playable characters(more than just Leon and Chris). Single player with multiple routes or just a tease for mercenary mode?

2: maybe I saw it wrong but I think I saw a glimpse of walking and gunning at the same time. Game changer? Or just my imagination?

3: dude, zombie(or whatever) attacks over your cover. DONE.

4: Ashley is back?

5: A lot of returning characters? Looks like giant fan service(that radio girl from RE4, a nemesis looking dude, etc)

6. I'm calling it. Two different locations and two different segments happening at the same time; Leon side(presumably in America) and Chris side(China).

It appears they have made some gameplay changes... Let's hope it's for the best. Good to have Leon back on as the main... Re4 is still a timeless classic.

It looks like they're going to play it straight and as earnest as possible, like RE5. Kind of sad. Looks pretty, I guess?

No, they're now actually trying to appeal to that very crowd with Revelations, and Leon's story clearly is meant to bathe you in nostalgia with zombies and gloomy, dark environments.

I never got the whole desire for people to move while shooting. It made sense in RE4 not to since NOBODY ACTUALLY DOES THAT (or at least professionals don't) and it heightened the tension knowing that you could either evade or attack but not both. Since RE5 got more into action, it would've made more sense there (though not til later) and since this looks to cross the gap entirely, it'd make sense NOW.

Also is the third guy in there Hunk? They've shown his face before, so it's not like it'd be a huge reveal.

Honestly, that looks pretty much what I was hoping for this series to go.

Moving and shooting, I am now officially interested.

I'm damn certain that the bald guy is the merchant from RE4. No, really, I'd recognise those fingerless gloves anywhere.

And it finally came full circle, went from being a slow tense survivor horror to fast paced third action action shooter with cover.

Not that this is a bad thing, this just looks way more fast paced/run and gun.

...He is meant to be blonde, according to the RE3 epilogue. Good call, I never even thought about that. And considering fucking massive this game looks in terms of fiction and characters, I wouldn't put it past 'em to finally ring in HUNK with some leading star action.

I am completely non-plussed about this. Happy zombies are back though, but RE5 was really mediocre and I miss the old tank controls, awful cameras and amazing voice acting of the PS1 days.

Looks like they're splitting the difference for old school fans and fans of the new RE style. I'm pretty excited.

With the different scenarios it sounds like they're trying to make everyone happy. Based on the trailer, I'd say so far so good.

They should really stop naming it Resident Evil, end the travesty already and make it a Gears of Wars DLC.

OK Japan you got my interest again. Hoping for the crazy new game+ from 5 like unlimited Rocket Launcher, and Day 1 PC would be nice.

i actually watched it twice, im really excited more if it has a separate co-op story!
