I guess they dropped "Hoodlum Havoc" becomes someone that wasn't French told them it was stupid. Good on them.

I played this on Gamecube back in the day and I enjoyed it. Might pick it up again.

Rayman : Origins proved that 2D is where Rayman is the strongest. Also, Rayman 3 is where the series went downhill (Rayman 2 wasn't the best, but it wasn't THAT bad).

Besides the fact of John Lequizomo voicing Globox, I'll totally play this game again. It's no Rayman 2(even if that game has aged), but still one of the better platformers from last gen.

Honestly after playing Origins, I don't think I can go back to 3D Rayman. 2D Rayman is almost a perfect example of how to make a fun platformer.

I actually really enjoyed Rayman 3 so I'll be looking forward to this.

I already played Rayman 3 in HD on my PC... but I'll probably end up buying this. I hope they do a better job with the controls compared to BG&E HD, because they just ported the PC version, which had different controls to the console game, and not at all suitable for gamepads. I think Rayman 3 on PC was more gamepad friendly though... so we might be ok.

I have never played a Rayman game... although I bought Rayman Origins when the price dropped a few weeks ago, just haven't gotten around to playing it yet. only heard great things about this game, so depending on how i enjoy Origins, this just might be a for sure thing!

I'm kinda sad it's become a boring ass "name:number" title; I for one liked "Hoodlum Havoc". Still, I have a lot of fond memories for this game. I do get the feeling those memories may be proven rose-tinted when this actually comes out, but whatevs; I like Rayman, I liked this game, I've always thought it perhaps slipped under the radar a little at the time, I'll be happy to shell out to put it on my hard drive.

Also, Billy West voiced Murfy as I recall, so that's nice.

Of the three Rayman games I've played, this is probably my favorite. But where the hell is BGE2?

I played HOURS of Rayman 1 (litterally more hours than people who played 2-3 playthrough of Mass Effect + and 2, no doubt!), lots of time Rayman 2 and am currently still loving Rayman Oriigns..but somehow, I totally missed 3... :(

This is where Rayman started to get stupid; mainly because someone at Ubi Soft decided that Globox needed to be an integral part of the whole shebang. Also, that grating fairy guy (voiced by Billy West) whose name escapes me. Basically, all secondary characters in Rayman suck, and this is where they had their roles increased 200% over the much better Rayman 2.

The actually game is perfectly fine, except for a weird focus on combat that is not the best. And the visuals are "darker" than any other Rayman game, so less colorful, imaginative, magical locales.

Globox fucking sucks. But at least Rayman is still good here - unlike the Spumco-inspired jackass masquerading as him in Rayman Origins.

We need a new 3D Rayman though. I'll probably download this - never did beat it on Gamecube. And the Beyond Good & Evil HD remake was well done. This seems like it's worth revisiting. Just...for fuck's sake, Globox is dumb. Makes Big the Cat look awesome by comparison.

Hoodlum Havoc was gorgeous (and fun) even in SD.

Rayman 3 is wayyy underrated. Yeah 2 was much better, but 3 is still very, very good.

Looking forward to this. Never got to play 3 as it came out during a time when I didn't have an income of my own and all my games were presents for birthday/christmas.

This isn't Rayman 2 because that game has been ported so many times over the past decade it's not funny. It's even on the iPhone!
