Lemmy keeps Metal alive; he is the symbol of badassism!

Wawawiwa! Lemmy is awesome!
Posted by Doomshine

I can't get over how awesome it is that they got these legends to do this. I guess it all comes down to the love they all have for metal.

Ozzy will probably do anything at this point, though.

I can only imaging their collective tinnitus.

It's fucking Lemmy! That's all you need to say to get me to watch this.

Very nice video.  Too bad I don't have the money to buy this game.

Posted by Demonstride

This makes me want to play the game. *Looks at his copy of Brutal Legend*

Posted by John1912

Game is a renter unless you really get into the online, which from the few games I played is not that great.  Seemed pretty laggy even with a good connection.
Posted by mikehaar

That video sold me up from a quaky C- to a solid B on Brutal Legend, which so far nothing I've seen has done- including the review.

spoilers in the video? certainly seems like it. i wouldn't watch it if you don't want some plot spoiled.

Just finished it about a couple hours ago and couldn't be happier with the purchase.  Here's hoping Double Fine has their first huge commercial success.

@Myrmidon: Well England is the birthplace of metal, especially the Midlands.

Our history is all about fucking people believing in dragons and slaying and blood n gore and shit.

" If you haven't yet watched it, you should see the 2005 documentary about heavy metal called  Metal: A Headbanger's Journey. Though I appreciate a lot of solid metal, I'm not what you would call a metal-head by any means, so I found the documentary (which is done in a very anthropological style) incredibly interesting. It broke down the history and branches of Metal as well as those who founded it and embraced it. Fantastic interviews, including Dio and Lemmy and countless others. I would say it's almost required viewing for anyone who appreciates music, regardless of genre. "
nothing to add, Duder, you said it eloquently.

Sam Dunn the director of that film made another documentary called "Global Metal" about how metal has been adapted in other cultures around the world than just NA and Europe going to Japan, Brazil, India, China, Isreal, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia to different metal festivals and such in the regions. It was quite interesting I saw it about two months ago on MuchMusic although I assume you could probably find it somewhere on the internet or on DVD.

Lemmy sounds OOOOLLLDDD

but those were some crazy dynamic camera angles

I have a question to the ones who played it already - Halford was said to voice two characters, LionWhyte and a biker. Does the biker appear in the full game? I seen him only in one trailer and there's no further mention about him, even on screenshots.

Just seeing Rob Halford talk about videogames made my day.  I'm really surprised they got Lemmy in on this though, that's strange but awesome.

Actually since I played on Brutal and got all the unlocks it was about 20.

'Lemmy's Wart' would be a GREAT name for a metal band.

Lemmy appeared, alongside Roy Keane, in a KitKat commercial that is TOTALLY awesome. He's a cool and normal guy, as far as I heard.

Not-so-interesting fact: I share my birthday with Lemmy.
