Rockstar Games Presents L.A. Noire

I am buying this game. 5 times.

The Guy with the shotgun looks like Michael Biehn. For those who don't know who that is Look at              "The Terminator"  or even more recently in Planet Terror or the trailer for Thanksgiving during Grindhouse...Oh jeez now all I can think of is that scene with the blood . If it isn't that's cool but looks really close to him with the actor and voice.

Looks to be Red Dead Redemption tier of greatness. I can't wait.

Those faces look really impressive, but the graphics itself doesn't look so good. Especially clothes. In some shots clothes looks like from a Wii game. Hope it will be at least big ass open world with a ton of stuff to do, to justify that shitty clothing graphics. Otherwise it looks great.

They did a lot of good casting for this. Is this going to be the same type of game play as red dead redemption?  I don't mean the hunting but it would be cool if you scalp people and skin random npcs before setting up camp on a highway. Oh the fun I would have.  
 
That's it I am off this game and now want a game about a psychotic Hobo. You play as the hobo and have to hunt down "D'em big government types" that are trying to steel Layla (your hobo shopping cart) away from you. Third person action game with Visceral face and neck stabbing like "Uh Uh Uh Uh" - Quoted without permission of Ryan Davis at Giantbomb.com.   

Features Include: 
Kinect Support, Using the awesome power of the Kinect you can stab those fancy suit wearing monkeys any which way you like. 
Online Multiplayer (Xbox live subscription needed) , Play against other Hobo's in our Hobo sports arena.  Will you be the king of trolley jousting? How far can you swing a cat? And how many cars can you smear with your own faeces.   
 
This game will only be distributed by hobos for cans of beans and knifes. Pleas note do not put on any article of clothing that could be misconstrued as a suit when talking to a hobo salesmen. 

I guess rockstar had to come clean up the mess team bondi made. The word around the campfire is the E is there because someone at bondi rides the short bus. 

Oh come on. Yeah the lip movement looks pretty good - but it still suffers from good old zombie eyes

This game looks awesome.  Wish it wasn't open world though.  I like all of the traversal when I'm bored and just want to run around and do whatever, but when I get into the story I really want the game to funnel me and quick travel me exactly where I need to go to progress the story.  When I'm into the story, almost everything that sets open world games apart from other genres is a negative. 
 
Having to drive 5 minutes to the opposite side of the map to pick up a character who's mission takes place somewhere that's another 5 minute drive away blows... especially when you have to do like 4 or 5 of these missions before the game really lets you progress the story.

You know I was just asking myself whatever happened to that game. And now I got at least an answer.

Mafia 2.5 so this is going to be pure garbage.

AMAZING lip sync.  but some of the facial expressions/eye movements are off.

The facial animations are impressive... But almost... Too... Much. I dunno. It almost looks rotoscoped for cryin' out loud.

The lip-syncing in those cut-scenes was extraordinary.

Amaaazing talking animations, a shame they didnt work on the rest of the facial animation so that it all fit a bit better. It just seemed like the talking was hugely better animated than the other facial movement.. or lack thereof.

Go Team Bondi, go! After playing take2's Mafia 2 demo I have given up on the entire genre, so I won't be playing this, sorry.

The lip syncing and VO is really off-putting . Maybe I just need more time to get used to it.

The lip syncing is really well done sure, but for it me kinda puts it further down into the uncanny valley. It's distracting and making me realize how poor other animations are.

I believe this is the game that is using new animation techinques that capture video and transpose motion onto 3D models. So I don't know if they only captured lips for this or what. I didin't think the rest of the facial animations were bad, just not as cool as the lips.

The music and voice acting both sound terrible.
