Just the right time for the Wake-Up Club to be released, now there's even more reason for nightly deaths due to Freddy Krueger & other nightmarish fiends killing people while they sleep to mess with the ability of everyone in the club to wake up. Next from Sony will be the opposite where you have to keep pressing the Vita screen at a regular basis to prove you're awake constantly instead of going to sleep (or MyNotebook for the Vita).

All silliness aside, I actually think this would help me get my butt out of bed on time. Owning people is a good way to start the morning imho.

For real though, except for during PAX time and E3, I regret buying the 3DS at launch every single stupid day. Finally realized that my life just doesn't have room in it for a dedicated portable gaming device anymore. If I buy a Vita, it'll actually probably be because of something stupid like Wake-Up Club + money I clearly shouldn't be allowed to have anymore.

When you think about it, isn't Wake Up Club the ultimate video game? I mean, IF YOU DIE IN WAKE UP CLUB YOU DIE IN REAL LIFE. This is some next, next, next, gen shit. There are no winners in wake up call, just those who haven't lost yet.

I never said that. I just find it hard to believe that you, both as a person who likes videogames, and covers them, cannot have any interest whatsoever in a single console, as if it offers you nothing. I understand not getting one because it's not worth it to you yet, but saying you have zero interest?

I don't own a Vita either, and currently I don't think it's worth it, but I certainly have interest in it. There are games I'd like to play on it, and I'm certain there will be games that come out for it soon that will convince me to buy it.

Also, for what it's worth, as a grown man and a launch buyer of a Vita, my only regret right now is that despite how above average the quality of the launch stuff was compared to other launches, there has been nothing of mention on it since. I'd even take just small minis or touch-based games. Certainly putting out a weird-ass alarm clock (can't believe one didn't come pre-installed) only emphasizes how little they've released on it. Gravity Daze can't come soon enough.
